To make matters worse, this isn't a rare event. Its a near daily event trying to keep it running.

Do you think the ongoing expense to keep the show functioning is a driver for it being retired so soon? (more than negative guest reaction)

The lighting effects alone use extremely expensive equipment that takes a lot of abuse. Never mind the 8 large displays which are running constantly for most of the day.

It seems that just like everything about this show, it sounded good on paper, but when actually executed, it's a nightmare.

Yeah I think the maintenance issues, daytime appearance, and poor guest reaction have all contributed.

Saw harm last night. It's really terrible with only half the fireworks. I feel like I read it somewhere, but can't find it... Does EF run two fireworks barges. If so, are we thinking they'll have both back? If not, it's not going to be good

Not sorry to see this go. I wonder if these barges will be gone by the time I get there on the 13th. Looking forward to seeing Epcot Forever again. I can’t believe I am that desperate.
