Looks like the other side of the epcot entrance plaza is open. Forbidden website has a video of it on their youtube. Weird no one is reporting on that. Entrance looking nice imo.

Why they haven't just dropped all the silly reservation stuff... and just let whoever wants to show up is beyond me.
it should be READILY apparent by watching the "other" parks in Orlando, that over attendance IS NOT something to worry about.
One look at delta / southwest flights daily can confirm that.

In other words, no reason to "discourge" folks from coming with a silly reservation system, when the demand isn't there in the first place.

They seem pretty useful at DHS.

The reality is that the parks are dead. I went to AK and if one really wanted ( and without much effort ) could nearly avoid being around anyone with the exception of the gates and temp check.

Is Disney banking on the passholders to give them the cheap gym effect? Gym has a ton of memberships and if every member decided to get off the couch they couldn't actually accommodate everyone but for some people since the cost is relatively small (or in this case some people may go to the parks a few times a year and think the pass paid for itself) they dont bother canceling. I'd love to know how many people are canceling their passes vs. who is just not concerned at the moment and will plan to go a couple of times later this year.

they already spent the money training and bringing back staff. Any insiders here can validate your rumor?

It wasn't my rumor, so I am not sure what needs to be validated? I don't think you understand what my post was about. The original poster said there was going to be an announcement about Epcot. Another poster said they hope it was good news, such as space 220 opening. I said I hope that was the case, but a worst case announcement was that they would delay opening Epcot.

I thought that was pretty clear, and I didn't think I gave off the impression that I was starting a rumor.

I’m the one that posted the original thing as hearsay from Twitter... I’m looking for confirmation too.
