I'd like to see MSEP return to FL.....

Spectro really does'nt do much for me...it always came across as a "copy" of the original..and the famous electronic music just can't be topped! I love symphonic music, and the Spectro music is very good, but there's just something about it that just leaves me cold in a way.

I guess i'm too much of a "purist" when it comes to Electrical Parades...

Oh, and "Wishes" does'nt really do anything for me either...what am i missing??

I do agree that ROE is THE best pyro show in FL. I adore it..the music, the production, presentation, the entire scope of it is AWESOME! :)

As for myself, comparing Spectro and MSEP is like comparing apples and oranges, since they're quite different in a lot of ways; therefore, it's tough to determine which is better. I have only seen SpectroMagic in person, only seen MSEP on TV, videos, and the Internet. In fact, SpectroMagic was my favorite of all the parades I saw at WDW on my 1st-ever trip there last November! But MSEP is a classic, so its still a matter of apples to oranges.

If so, SpectroMagic could run at Disney-MGM, since they don't have that much in the way of nightime entertainment except for Fantasmic! :D  :sohappy: :sohappy: :animwink:

Kent. You are putting too much thought into this. Think with common sense rather than dreams. Hong Kong is brand-spanking new, and does not have all of the backstage facilities that WDW has. It could be getting prepped in WDW to be in Hong Kong.

Wasn't the msep from paris supposedly going to hong kong or is it just in storage?
If it's here, I think it is just being stored and maintained here prior to being shipping to HK

LOL, yes! But it sounded like it was being prepared for WDW, if it was in their central shop. :animwink:

I think I saw someehere wants that central shops at WDW does evrything for all parks world wide.

Also wasn't WDW's MSEP sent to DLP when SpectroMagic premired. The one that came to WDW for about a year or so was Disneyland's which is now used in there Calafornia Adventure park.

It would make sence that it is at WDW central shops, getting a top to bottom referbishment before being put back into service for HK, unless they want Spectro and we get Fantillusion? (didn't Disney buy them and loan it to Paris?)

EDL SCA bought only some of the floats off OLC. The remaining floats were detroyed per OLC tradition.

Count me among those who prefer MSEP to SpectroMagic any day.

It's not the floats, it's the music.

My first visit was 1979 and we enjoyed the parade until it left in the early 1990s.

While I saw the return in 1999 and 2000, I'm still kicking myself for not getting back down there in early 2001 to see it again.

If MSEP returns to WDW, I'll be back among the PAP holders in a flash!

Sa but true. EDL SCA could only afford to buy a certain number, so chose the ones that told the story the best. The original TDL version was a monster (as seem all their parades are - Blazing Rhythms, Dreamlights...)

I agree, all of the Tokyo Parades seem to go far out to put on a great show, and the length wow, for example TDLP-DL is over 25 minutes of pure audio.

New Parade

Does anyone know if Tokyo Disneylands Electrical Parade Dreamlights or Disney's Fantillusion Parade will ever come to Florida?

I guess anything is possible, I would like to see Fantilussion come to WDW but I would love to see Tokyo's D-POP Magic show come to WDW the most.

I guess if they brought back the MSEP to Florida we could have it more similar to the Tokyo version.

There is and disney phone number out there where you can call and it will list all shows entertainment and maybe even the char. the will appear on iste during the day. I believe it was in the unofficial guide but I don't have the book in front of me now to give it to you. Can someone else look that up?
