Maybe the Tavern could come up with its own not-alcoholic-but-sounds-like-it type beverage. Maybe something pirate-y like LemonAle, or BlackBeer, or something like that...

Why is everyone so determined to leave the alcohol out?
There's something called a liquor license. Disney has them.

I'll answer your question with a question. Why is everyone so determined to shoehorn alcohol (or an alcohol substitute) in to a park that has never served it?

Don't get hung up on the word "tavern". Dry taverns in the MK are nothing new!

Bumping this a bit to say that they apparently changed the sign for the tavern. Orignally they had just put a placard over the old El Pirata Y Perico logo, but now there is a whole new sign. Got this from the Orlando Theme Park News facebook.
