Most entertaining thread we have had all year.:ROFLOL:

Sideways with a downwards motion...
Can't get any worse, can it?:lookaroun
According to his public statement, he just moved his son into the dorm up at Stanford last month and he realized he wants to spend more time with his family. Maybe he needed more time in his life to buy stuff at Target for the dorm room?

He was 54 years old, in the prime of his career.

Presidents only last about three years at Disneyland, and he hit his three year mark a month ago. Buh-bye Ed.
Seriously, though....Is that a rule with them? Does the contract state it?

So, you guys are assuming and presenting it as facts? Is this Fox News?
You can make inferences and educated guesses based on past event though. No one is assuming anything.

And he's not afraid to get mavericky in there and ruffle feathers.
Ew....Is he "going rouge", too?

maybe phil holmes can become presidnet at Disneyland so we can get someone else (Jim Macphee) as prez for MK?
This.

He will fight for a 40th. :D
Factor in that Comcast has it's eye on NBC Universal....could get real interesting.
Indeed it could.

Hey, if the war rages on, it rages on. :D I like the profits.

?.....is it possible that any of these people that "resigned" could have really resigned on their own? by their own choice? without disney saying it is your time to go? yes it is possible because unless you are close friends with these people or you are God....you dont know the real truth.

I know. Hopefully there are a FEW cool new things to look at...

Im expecting the star tunnel replaced with corny "interactive" games for the kiddies and a new unthemed (or minimally themed) new holding area. Possibly a controverstial change to the postshow as well. that's about it.

Dont really care if he was fired, laid off, resigned or whatever.
I am interested to see who will be taking over now...

I have never been to Disneyland and don't know anyone who works there, so I wont make any judgement on Ed. I know that a bunch of people thought he sucked or was at least Blah.

Knowing the life span of a Disneyland President, I wonder if they will have a hard time filling the position.

I wonder if the new Prez will come from Main Stream Disney or from the shadows like Nick Franklin in Biz Developement for Disney Parks/ Resorts-Japan???
