What would you reccommed I eat? I dont like Mexican or Spicy food, but Id imagine they have SOMETHING I can eat. I really wanna eat her with my GF cause she will love it but I wanna be able to eat also!

If it makes you feel any better, every time I have eaten there... well, it's not Good Mexican. It's bland bland bland, and the chips and salsa are obviously from a bag and bottle, it doesn't even seem like they try to cover that fact up. If you don't like Mexican food, you should be fine. I would only call this place a pale "inspired by" version of Mexican food.

Save your money please. It is horrible food just horrible. I wouldn't say this if I were not an avid Mexican food lover and I mean lover. I could eat it every day. But this place is expensive and horrible.Take her off property and eat somewhere else.

Take a look at the menus available on this site. If you see something you would eat, then you are fine. If you are still set on going there and don't see anything, don't hesitate to call the restaurant and talk to someone there. Disney is usually very accommodating and I am sure that they could work something out for you.

It is not as simple as looking at the Menu. That's what we did. The food taste does not in any way match the description. You can go to any restaurant and see what is on the menu but you cannot tell what it is going to taste like. There are enough bad revues to say that the most of us do not think it is worth any amount of money. If she just have to go in there. Go but do not expect good food. Stick with an app and drink get out.and go eat some regular foods in another park.Or better yet. The All Star resorts have some very tasty foods in their courts.

I understand you can't tell what the food is going to taste like. The OP also said that he wanted to go there for his girlfriend and seemed pretty intent on doing so. He didn't ask what our opinions were, but rather what he would be able to eat. So instead of just stating my opinion without adding anything useful to the original question, I offered the best advice that I could. So, before going after another poster, maybe you should look at what is originally being asked.

She doesnt even know about the place I just know she will LOVE the settings. I did read over the menu and there is really nothing that would make me want to use a meal credit to eat there.

So we will just go in get a dessert to share or an APP just to take in the beauty of that place...

Oh and fight nice guys!

If you are looking for a place with nice environment in Epcot, you might want to consider the Coral Reef. You will also hear negative things about that from a bunch of people here, but I can say from experience that it was very enjoyable.

I think that is a great idea. I am with the ones who think the food there is not good, however the atmosphere is very romantic. Even with the bad food, it is fun to go there at least once. Maybe get some drinks and try an appetizer.

Coming from someone who actually likes San Angel, I'd be able to recommend something. Do not eat the chilaquiles, because those will be spicy. So anything with chilaquiles and *key word: tomatillo sauce* will be spicy. I always eat the carne asada tampiqueña with the enchilada and veggies. Also comes with refried black beans and rice.

The dessert isn't something to write home about. The drinks? For that I'll have them at the margarita bar.

I'd try the food and not cater to the negative thinking here, even mine. Our tastes will vary...but in the end it's your choice. :)

I just wanted to say even though it seems like you have decided against eating here that I don't like spicy food at all. I will eat tacos and stuff like that, but I don't like real spicy food. We ate at San Angel for the first time in October and I really enjoyed it. The ambience is fantastic. We had a table right next to the water.

I ordered this:
Filete Motuleno - Grilled beef tenderloin with beans, Oaxaco melted cheese, Ranchero sauce, Pablano peppers, and fried plaintain $32

It was basically a steak with melted cheese on top of it. I thought it was really good. Not spicy at all. I didn't eat the peppers or the plaintain, but my meat was good. So I definitely think it's something worth trying even if you don't necessarily like mexican food. Just wanted to throw that in there for you.

Yeah, I was eyeing up that Filet...Id prob just ask for it plain...

I dont "drink".

Im just looking for an excuse to get in there so she can see it. Its nor that big a deal to find something to eat. We can both share a dessert or just each some chips and salsa to cool down one of the days or something.

You guys do give great input, I really appriceate that!
