Easter 2013 park phase closings

I just returned from 3 days in the parks - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

MK closed on each day around 12.

I was able to ride everything I wanted in all 4 parks. And repeated my favorites more than once.
Toy Story - 3 times
Rock n Roller Coaster - 3 times
Space Mountain - 2 times
Under the Sea - 4 times
Soarin - 2 times
Test Track - 2 times
etc...
You get the idea. Plus Fantastmic and Wishes (Not an Illuminations fan)

And I never waited more than 30 minutes (And that was only for Kilimanjaro Safari since when we got to the park the fastpasses were gone) I walked on most rides/used Fastpass.

Yes the parks were crowded - but if you're there at park opening and stay until park closing...you'll get it all done. In the afternoons when it's super crowded we saw shows, less popular attractions, ate/drank World Showcase and shopped at DtD.

It's very possible to still do everything you want during Spring Break crowds if you're smart about it and utilize the extra park hours and Fastpass.

Agreed! I have been twice over the 4th of July and have plenty of time to hit ALL attractions a few times. Opening is the key.

It's been busy all week (as evidenced by all the Phase 3 closings) but yesterday took the cake! Holy... Moly!

Got sick and tired of the crowds and quite literally not being able to get onto anything. Took the 'rail over to Poly around 4 and commenced sampling many insane fruity, colorful concoctions! Rolled back into town around 6-7ish and closed 'er out at 3am! w00t

Have been here since Wednesday and honestly expected worse....being an experienced FP user, we've done all we've wanted multiple times at every park...and we still have a week to go! Longest wait without a FP was about 40 minutes. Crowds and the nees to plan don't bother us so we've had a great time.

Parachute in. Depending on your chute and the strength of the wind, you should be able to land right next to the partners statue.

Couldnt be more correct best times to hit all the great rides up is after wishes or whatever show is in each park, everyone goes home and the lines die down so quickly

We got to the park around 9:50 and people were pouring out trying to beat the ones who leave right after Wishes. We stood on Main Street - watched Wishes (and cried) - then hit Adventureland and walked on Jungle Cruise...our boat only had 5 people on it. Then went to Pirates of the Caribbean and had only 5 people in that boat as well. Seriously - late nights and early mornings RULE.

If we had been there for more than 3 days...we would have went back to take naps in the afternoons to reboot for a late night. But with only 3 days - you gotta make the most of 'em! :D

Palm parkway or Apopka Vineland. You can get from Universal Orlando -> Disney, minimal to no traffic. No tolls.

Good luck getting there without facing either 535 or over a dozen lights trying to traverse WDW property (where you're also likely to hit some gridlock). Same problem applies to using Western Way.

I've lived in this part of town for 9 years, I know multiple ways around I-4. None are time-effective. The surface streets are often just as bad as the highway. It's generally only 6 weeks out of the year--but that 6 weeks can drive you crazy (pun intended).
