I know weekends are generally more crowded at WDW, but after we've seen Stage 3's almost all this week ... do you think this weekend we might encounter a Stage 4?

From what I have seen, this upcoming weekend is the common weekend that everyone seems to have off. Majority of people either had this week off, ending after this weekend, or have next week off, starting with this weekend. I would assume it will be crazy BUT, it could end up being travel days for a good amount of guests and not so bad.

Good Friday = Time off work. My kids day care is closed tomorrow (Friday) So I would assume these days to be busy for "Spring Break.""

Our Spring Break starts tomorrow and runs through next week. That's why I asked how long it would last earlier this week, I didn't realize that S. Georgia actually follows the same schedule as most of the rest of the world. Oh well, we will be there Sunday through Thursday. I guess we will just try to make the most of it!

Highly unlikely. Phase 4 usually only happens right before the fireworks on July 4th or right before midnight on NYE. It is very rare and they try to acoid it as much as humanly possible.

I was there on a day last year that was listed as crowd level 9 by touring plans........let me tell you , It was insane and you couldnt go two feet in any direction without someone bumping into you.

I never get any type of anxiety issues but I was borderline that day!!

I dont think id do very well on one of these phase closing days!! No thanks!!

Does the fresh and exciting Universal Studios ever close due to capacity like the stale and dated Magic Kingdom ? :)

Has a couple times, but not common, at least outside of Halloween Horror Nights. Much like EPCOT Center, the Studios has a lot of land.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter--which even at 3 years old is apparently still fairly fresh and exciting--has been closed due to capacity all week tho.

Try going to Universal's Islands of Adventure during Christmas week. I was surprised that they could fit that many people into the park. And they are currently during a return time ticket to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter due to the crowds.

I just returned from 3 days in the parks - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

MK closed on each day around 12.

I was able to ride everything I wanted in all 4 parks. And repeated my favorites more than once.
Toy Story - 3 times
Rock n Roller Coaster - 3 times
Space Mountain - 2 times
Under the Sea - 4 times
Soarin - 2 times
Test Track - 2 times
etc...
You get the idea. Plus Fantastmic and Wishes (Not an Illuminations fan)

And I never waited more than 30 minutes (And that was only for Kilimanjaro Safari since when we got to the park the fastpasses were gone) I walked on most rides/used Fastpass.

Yes the parks were crowded - but if you're there at park opening and stay until park closing...you'll get it all done. In the afternoons when it's super crowded we saw shows, less popular attractions, ate/drank World Showcase and shopped at DtD.

It's very possible to still do everything you want during Spring Break crowds if you're smart about it and utilize the extra park hours and Fastpass.
