Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme?

I know I'm in the minority here...but I'll take a DD's over a KK's any time of the week. There really isn't anything to a KK...they're full of air...at least DD is cakey and has some substance.

As a general rule I try and stay away from donuts all together. So bad for me!

I love the way Krispy Kreme tastes when you get there as they are baking them, that way they are nice and warm.

But I agree with DisneyJill, I try to stay away from them because I need to lose weight again.

I actually prefer a bagel, lightly toasted, with light cream cheese!

If I had to choose between DD or KK, it would be DD. KK's are way too sweet for my taste.

Back up in Buffalo, NY we had this Donut/Coffee/Bagel place called Tim Hortons. Oh man do I miss their food like nobody's business, we mainly have DD and KK down here, but I really can't get used to either I still miss Tim Hortons.

Ouch, Scott, this is a tough one. I can't vote. Krispy Kreme is probably the better store but it all depends on what I happen to be craving at the moment!

I completely agree. DD's is sooo much better. They have much more of a variety as well. Not only can you get donuts, but you can get bagels, muffins, scones, bagel sandwiches, danish, croissants, munchkins, and any type of coffee you could possibly imagine. And although I enjoy KK, DD definitely gets my vote :slurp:

Even though I'm from Massachusetts, home of the first Dunkin' Donuts, I have to say that I prefer the taste of Krispy Kreme's doughnuts. Unfortunately, I can't really eat either in an effort to improve my overall health.

DD has 3 more additional donut types. Not a huge difference. As for the rest of what DD offers, I prefer my donuts "Hot n' Ready" over donuts that make your mouth dry! :lol:

I prefer Krispy Kreme over Dunkin Donuts. Everytime I go to DD, they are stale, (either that or thats just how they taste everytime.) Nothing better than a hot glazed KK donut!!!
