KK man, all the way. Although there is a place in Altamonte Springs called Hotties Gourmet Dougnuts which are dang good.

well...considering i grew up in the northeast... we hung out in the dunkin donuts parking lot in highschool.

i like watching them make the donuts on the machines at krispy kreme though.

Fried and flipped in boiling fat, then glazed or powdered in sugar. I used to make them in my youth, but have never eaten one. :hurl:

I agree KK are way to glazy, you don't want glaze all the time. I grew up with DD, so that is what I like. I love the munchkin's cause it's like having a few different donuts without having to eat an entire donut. I never even heard of or had a KK until a few years ago when they became all the rage. Either way donuts are bad for the hips.

DD gets my vote. They get it not because of the donuts but because of their coffee. Hands down best coffee anywhere. As for donuts we have a little mom and pop place in Jacksonville called the Donut shop that puts DD and KK to shame. :slurp:

Dunkin' Donuts is so much better, although you can't get them in St. Louis anymore... Krispy Kreme is evil and they drove out all the Dunkin's in the St. Louis area. The closest one is in Fairview Heights, IL.. about 45 minutes from my house. I've actually driven all the way out there a couple of times when I've had a craving!!

But the best donuts of all time are Old Town Donuts in Florissant, MO. AWESOME!!

I was raised from infancy on Krispy Kreme, so that's my preference...Dunkin' Donuts just don't taste right to me.


The question I want the answer to is this...if KK is the majority favorite around here...then why is the company in such poor financial shape? :lookaroun

And for the record...the KKs that get me every time aren't the glazed...it's their plain cake donuts and their cruellers....:slurp:

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is due to the fact that they expanded too fast and took on too much debt than they could handle.
