Okay so in the Fantasyland Expansion, us WDW'ers will also be getting a mini-land themed to Dumbo. This what we know as of now:

Dumbo's Circus

  • Attraction Type: Interactive Experiences, Spinner ride, maybe a train ride, and a kiddie coaster.
  • Opening: 2012
  • Location: Fantasy Forest
  • Attraction: Immerse yourself in the story as you enter Dumbo's circus. Intricate theming combined with Dueling Dumbos, Interactive waiting(means you no longer have to wait in line), a possible train ride on Casey Jr., and a re-themed kiddie coaster is equivalent to a truly magical experience.

Yeah I do too. It adds a nice touch.

On an interview the imagineers stated that the interactive wait will operate with rotations. Now, did they mean rotations as to Dumbo ride rotations or rotations through the games there will be in the tent?

Does anyone else feel that this "Dumbo's Circus" area is going to become the next Paradise Pier/Chester and Hester's Dinorama?

Where is the ride currently known as Goofy's Barnstomer in relation to the Dumbo tent?

I ask as one of our favourite things to do at MK is to ride the Barnstormer during Wishes. My DD8 and I rode it 5 times straight without even getting off in July during Wishes. It is an amazing way to see the fireworks overtop of the castle since the first hill points straight towards the castle.

It would be disappointing if the placement of the tent affected this at all...maybe it isn't high enough to anyway, but just wondering...

No, Dumbo is going for the romanticized view of a carnival.

Not the actual craptacularness of a carnival that is Dinorama.

And Paradise Pier is beautiful, and it's a bit of an insult to put it in the same sentence as Dinorama.

It's everything Disney didn't want (or at least it was), but whatever. Dinorama, although sorta tacky, provides great theme and a compex story you wouldn't expect.

Dinorama is not a carnival BTW, it's a fair. :p:wave:

You can make up the greatest story you want for a pile of ****, but that's not gonna change the fact that it's a pile of ****.

And Dinorama is also something Walt never wanted.

But Walt liked Dinos (he made dinos... right?) and he openly did not like the Amusement parks of his time. So..... booyah skip!

To your rolling eyes: I'm entitled to my opinion*
