Question, could we always see the FL theatre from here or did they chop some trees down?

It's just logical to assume when it happens every year. If everything isn't broken upon reopening, it soon will be.

The one thing that gives me hope this year is the work they re doing on the flume. It appears the rehab may be a little more e tensile this time. Or it could be the same crap and the only extensive work is being done to the flume. Who knows?

They do go slower, which is by design. The other Splash attractions are paced more like Pirates. Personally I think it's a better experience.

Oh God no. Their are enough slow paced attractions at DLR as it is. Not that I go to DLR for thrills but I’ll take them where I can get them. DLs Splash is all I know but the fast paced, dark FL Style thrill ride on shrooms works for me.

Somehow Splash Mountain is more thrilling than RSR and I’m not even talking about the last drop.

I doubt the wider logs would ever happen, but if it meant that I could ride Splash without getting my body and especially my shoes completely drenched, I'd be all for it! I've never gotten uncomfortably wet in Florida but I've almost given up riding DL's.

My feet always get soaked too. And when you're on vacation and only have two pairs of shoes to last you the week, it's a problem.

I think anywhere in Seats 3-5 and you are pretty safe... from getting drenched at least. I had seen people complain about getting soaked on Splash but never could relate. Then finally I sat in the front on a day where it appeared the flume was much more full than usual (literally all the way to the top of the flume) and I got absolutely drenched. I think it had more to do with the flume being full because I’ve sat in front plenty of times and never got that drenched.
