I still can't believe that's the castle at Shanghai. Must be cultural differences. Looks to me like an evil Nazi fortress.

You mean like Neuschwanstein Castle where Hitler hid his most valuable artwork and a decade later was used to inspire Disneyland's own Sleeping Beauty Castle?

My favorite Disney castle of all time is the Beast's castle. (It's very convincing, great use of forced perspective)

In my humble opinion, NOTHING compares to this castle, inside or out.

As beautiful as this castle is, it always looked shorter to me than it actually is. It must be because it's just so skinny. Wish there was more to it because it really is such a charming and fantastical design.

Somebody posted a photo of this on instagram last night, to which I replied "birthday cake." I woke up to the person having talked a ton of meaningless and unnecessary s*** to me about the comment. But really, in that photo, it looked like an elaborate wedding cake. That's really all it works as. (or a set piece in a mini-golf course)

@Brit_at_wdw He just blocked me for no apparent reason. I went back to find the post and all of his pretty WDW photos and they're gone. He must really love this cake castle.

Pleeeease I beg of you. And see if my comment survived the blocking. You should write the same thing if you aren’t afraid of seeing fewer dslr photos of 40 year old plaster monuments that could use some tlc.
