Dream Job at Disney?

I heard that disney has people going around, rideing the rides all day, watching the cast members. After you go on a ride, you write down how they did. If this job really exists, this is another one that I might like.

Most definently! Getting paid for riding rides and judging Cast members. I wish there a major for that here at my University :p

My Dream Job at Disney

While many would consider that I have the ultimate dream job as an editor for a major video game magazine, the constant stress of deadline has me wishing of a calming job at Disney.

Know what I want to do? I want to be one of the guys who mows the lawns at the parks. To mow things, and keep the beauty maintained. No deadlines, no politics... Just me and my thøughts in the midst of the happiest place on earth.

Aside from that, I'd love to be an Imagineer. So far in my life, I've already been a toy designer, so I guess it would be the same, just with a larger scale...

Whenever I go to any park, I always give my friends the history spiel. I live in Illinois, so I know Great America inside and out. Doing so as a job would rule.

My morbid, somber personality would allow me to deadpan my way into the roll of a CM at the Haunted Mansion...

If I could do any of these jobs and earn a decent salary, I'd move down to FL and start work in a flash.

My ideal job would be to test the big rides every day before the parks open:-

ToT
RnR
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain

in that order

Not Splash Mountain as it's the scariest ride of all (for me, anyway!)

My dream job would be of course, an Imagineer. But I would also like to operate the monorail or the riverboats between Port Orleans & Downtown Disney.

The same for me.

This is for Mrs. Lightbeer. I have a good friend that works for WDW. He told me that there are two women that play Tinkerbell. They make like $250.00 each trip down the line. If it rains or the show is canceled, they still get paid.

dream job

I use to work on the jungle cruise and loved it, but while working at WDW I heard about the ultimate job; being a chaperone for the famous people and thier famalies when they come to WDW. they get to hang out with famous people like Robin Williams and skip all the lines for the rides.

o ya by the way my ultimate dream is to become an imagineer and design all the rides:D

I'll ditto that, i have lots of great ride ideas to be downsized and cut and pushed back and eventually turn out as yet another Dumbo clone.

I wish that I had enough wittiness to give the Jungle Cruise tours- those folks are always a riot.
However, I think that I'll have to stick with my nerdy destiny and pursue a career as an engineer turned imagineer!

Custodial wasn't bad, but SuperGreeter has got to be cool! Helping out Guests all day and creating a little Magic for your compatriots... :sohappy:
