#10 idea for potential permanent uses for the PatF franchise.

A new dark ride for DHS.

Not a standard dark ride but a conceptual one. If the new movie is indeed an ushering in of the 3rd golden age of Disney animation then this would be a great addition to the Animation Courtyard. You have The Little Mermaid to represent the 2nd golden age and the Animation tour capable of featuring the 1st golden age and future projects. By adding a PatF dark ride they could cover a comprehensive history of the animation studio.

So my idea is to put the ride in the OMD and Narnia buildings with an entrance from the Animation Courtyard. One Man's Dream could be relocated to MSUSA.

My concept for the ride would be unique in that it would display the making of a full length hand drawn feature with room for each stage of the process. Similar in a way to the original JII, each room would feature a different concept. Story, adaptation, script, pencil drawing, animation, voice, music. As you go through the ride the movie will come alive concluding in a finale, and the ultimate compliment for a great feature, a ride in a Disney park.

Thats it, 10 ideas, I'm sure one of them is viable. Point is, someone should be planning something for this feature that is permanent. Cause it's not always about Pixar. :wave:

Disagree about AL. Doesn't fit at all IMO.

I think I was trying to put FL. But I do think the tree house would work in AL if the movie has a lot of adventure when in the swamp. I typed that late at night too.

They could finally bring over PHH technology and use it for PatF, bu they could make that technology work with practically any story.

So sorry to burst everyone's bubbles, but as of right now it looks like both DL and MK are getting 'Tiana's Showboat Jubliee!' There is an audition posting for musicans for MK on disneyauditions.com

Yes we know that. If you read the thread you would know that the discussion was about possibilities after the Jubilee ends in early 2010. Some of us want a permanent area for PatF. :wave:

If this movie explodes (:D) and this is the only PatF thing in the parks, and all the little girls want to meet Tiana...:D:D:D:lookaroun

In all seriousness, if this movie delivers enough umph to match the hype it's getting, there's no reason it should be any less present in the parks than Mermaid, BatB, Aladdin, or The Lion King.

Because it is temporary, at least for now.


OT

We were all talking about the possible return of Timekeeper the last couple months to the TTA and possibly the TL movie. I said Disney would be wise to try and build it's bridges back with Robin Williams in any case. Well they signed him today to do a new comedy.

Timekeeper has a pulse!!!! :)

Aladdin and TLK is barely present, so I hope not :O
