Well the discussion was about hourly employees not management. And I won't justify it because there isn't one. Disney should pay as much or more than its peers. Disney should pay more across the board, I won't disagree with that.

The question is not whether or not Disney should pay more, but whether unskilled entry level hourly positions should pay enough to support an individual's (or a families) life in 2016.

Actually it was about Disney working with Congressman-elect Darren Soto to provide brief shelter and park tickets to fire victims, then it went completely off the rails. And obviously I helped contribute to that.

As others have said, It's still sad that even a topic likes this gets over analyzed and spun negative immediately. Can't say I'm surprised.

Our side discussion should be moved to one of the many other minimum wage threads that have been started. Though they should be updated since it's been pointed out that cast start above the state minimum now.
