Don't Tell My Boss.....

I wish you guys would get back to work. I'm retired and all that Social Security they are taking from your checks is coming to me. :fork:

Now that is funny.

I come on from time to time when I am burned out and need a break. Maybe for about 5 minutes every-other-day. It is non stop where I work. Not that my boss would know because he is so busy also.

Not that my boss would know because he is so busy also.

I used to be on a lot more, when the monitoring of web traffic was loose. Since they have tightened up, I sneak in a few quick peeks at new posts during my lunch.

You realize that most places log every web site you visit while on their machines, right? They have the right to do that and monitor your email while using company owned machines and network.

However the site doesn't work right at work

This is usually because there are web filters put in place to remove potential security issues, some Javascript and other items can be stripped, depending on the tool used. Most likely they are logging access too.

I usually try to check a couple of times a day depending on what is going on at the shop. However, the last month we have actually picked the business up and moved to another town -- no time for surfing WDWmagic! :( We're back up and running, but still doing a lot of move stuff. So today it's just a breif check at lunch time. No problems though with the boss, I am the boss; he he. The worst part is I have to "police" myself on time on the boards.

I check a few times everyday from work and home. And even more as a Disney trip comes closer.

I am much more active on the running sub-forum and it's nice to check in with my fellow runners and see how everyone's training is going. And then causally peruse the general boards.
Of course I could spend hours looking at all the photo threads.

Much like everyone else here I'm on quite a bit. But I'll do one better. I work in conferences and trade shows and get sent to them. Some are in Orlando, some are in Anaheim.

So every spare minute I get (which is anytime the show floor isn't open) I'm at Disney when I'm in those cities. Plus since it's for work that means I get my flight and hotel paid for and even get to expense my Disney meals.

As I'm an Annual Pass holder it basically means I get free trips to Disney all the time, yay

At work I go on briefly during breaks as I do my scan of the different sites I visit during this time.

The times I work from my home office though its whenever I want. Like right now I've had this open in a tab for a while now.

OK so we are ALL Disney Freaks here. Passionate,obsesive..etc. I know I spend a great deal of time at this forum during my work day.I would be curious just how bad some of us are. How much time do you spend here during your work day ( come on be honest) and just what do you do?
I am a teacher and my free periods ( well not actually free, theres always things I SHOULD be doing but....

Around 4-5 hours easily. I work in Radiology

Depends. I'm not really monitored at work, but sometimes I'm doing work on the computer that uses all of it's computational power for an hour or two. Sometimes, I have deadlines. There have been days, I've gotten up to half a day on magic, but they're becoming less frequent.

I can usually grab about 15 minutes or so at work on a weekday, more if I'm working on a Saturday. I can't directly log on though, have to go through Google.
