We really like the Crystal Palace for breakfast, so I'm wondering how the Donald's breakfast is at the Tusker House. And for those of you have been to both, which do you prefer?

Donald's Tusker House Breakfast or Crystal Palace breakfast?

For food I like Tusker house as it is similar to Boma. The food at CP is pretty much your average breakfast fare that you see all over property.

Its been a really long time since we have been to CP and i remember it being just like CM....Now Tucker House with Donlad was AWESOME!! We really loved it last year and we are going back this year. We are not big buffet people but this was a nice change with a different selection of food. Go ahead and give it a try. We had breakfast at 8:10 am when the park opened at 9 and when we were done we went right over the the Safari and were one of the first trucks out and we saw so many aniimals up close. That was our best ride on the safari because it was cool and early and very one was up eating and taking morning walks!!! You really should give it a try!!!

We usually do Crystal Palace for lunch and prefer Tusker House for breakfast.
Tusker House has some different offerings that you won't find in other buffet breakfasts. Like their breakfast potatoes and of course the completely awesome juice they serve. Yummy!
The decor inside is also different and if you have done CP before, but not Tusker House I would definitely say to give it a try!

Count my family and I among the fans of Tusker House!
As others have said...great variety on the buffet...the jungle juice is outstanding and the character interaction is top notch!

Log another vote for Tusker House. The only advantage I really see with CP (unless you really want to see the Pooh characters) is the early morning pictures you can get down main street. However, that only applies if you have one of the earlier ADR's

CP for breakfast is one of my favorite Disney experiences and how I usually start every vacation, but the TH is also amazing. The biggest differnces are in the characters and menu. The Pooh characters are smaller and more personable, this leads to a quieter vibe. Donald and Goofy are a bit larger and definitely more raucous.
The CP breakfast is more standard fare and specializes in choices for little ones, while the TH has the basics, but augments them with some more interesting and exotic choices.
So if you want to start the day with a bang and have some adventurous eaters with you go to TH. If you are looking for a quiet breakfast and have some picky eaters in tow hit the CP.

We ate at both last year and both had a lot of food and we all thought the food was good. However, I will say that CP has more traditional fare and TH has a few different offerings with an Asian/African touch to them. The "feel" of them is completely different as well and again, we enjoyed both. The character intereaction was good at both, as well. If you haven't tried TH, I'd say try it, it's fun and the food is very good. :slurp:

Definitely prefer Tusker House over CP.... There is more of a variety of food and I like the foos set up better.

We've been to both in the past. We definitely enjoyed Tusker as a change of pace and setting, but my family is enjoys the atmosphere and characters at CP more so that would be our preference. Definitely give Tusker and Donald a try though - I'm sure you'll have fun and its always good to try something new!

We like the Tusker house Breakfast as it seems be be less crowded then CP and better character interaction with the kids. And unlike the CP they seem to be much better at getting you in at your ADR time and not having to wait around ouside for a table to open up

Huge fan of CP! They have my favorite character meal as well as buffet on property. Was going to do Tusker house this year but decided against it this past week. Heard great things about it but my vote goes to Crystal Palace!

Tusker is the best and NO it does not taste like Boma if it did I would run as fast as I could out of there. Cp is 2nd best. Really good selection great breakfast casserole. DO BOTH!!!!!!

We have done both in the past and will do both again this year. We really enjoyed Tusker House/Donald's Breakfast Safari. The food is super yummy..graonlas, fruit, eggs, potatoes..the JUICE!! The buffet area itself seems so open and easy to navigate about. We make really early ressies on a non morning extra magic hours. When we finish eating it is just so nice to go outside and enjoy the peace in the park before the crowds pile in. Granted you are not free to roam about but it so nice anway!

Although we are back at Crystal Palace for wedding day breakfast Id rather be at the Tusker House. But its not my big day...............
