Doing the wave with Magic Friends

Yeah. I'm just really afraid of rocking the boat too much w/ work, you know? But legally they can't lay me off/fire me for being on disability can they?

I honestly couldn't tell you, since I was a stay at home wife before I was at a stay at home mom. I would like to think they'll treat you decently, but it probably wouldn't hurt to know your company policy on such things backward and forwards so they don't try to mess w/ things.

Um. Who's the guy singing on Idol? :lookaroun The audience all seems to know who he is

Sorry, I don't watch AI.

Well whether I go in or not, we're going to talk to HR tomorrow to figure it out. If I don't go in they'll just conference me in.

Hi. I'm not feeling well. I left rehearsal early. It's not really a health thing -- the only physical ailment I have a pretty bad cough now and then. But for some reason I got EXTREMELY tired this afternoon and now I'm just not in any mood to do anything at all.

Oof.

Okay.
I'm officially old.
I knew who Frankie Avalon was...but I never heard of Flo Ri Da before.
Sorry...but it doesn't sound like I've been missing much, there. :lookaroun

Hi Luke. Maybe you just ran out of steam.
Or maybe you really need to go to the doctor, like we told you when you were getting dizzy. Maybe something's not quite right.

Nah, this has nothing to do with dizziness. No steam sounds like a possibility. I haven't been sleeping well lately

Is Adam home? Did you talk it over with him?
Nope he comes back tomorrow night. He's just as confused as I am :hammer:
Quick hi.
Steph, I'm so glad to hear you're doing better. Good luck with sorting it all out with work. Don't let it stress you.
Thanks

I knew Frankie Avalon looked familiar (I think he was on Grease?) but wasn't sure who he was.

Dooot! If you're still here. I like your sig.

Well...according to the letter they sent home w/ me for work I am no longer "fully incapacitated" only "partially incapacitated".:rolleyes: That just sounds funny the way they worded it. Basically I've been upgraded to "partial bedrest" until I go back in 3 weeks. She's wants me to have another ultrasound before she sees me then too.
The "partial" part is just really confusing. She said that I just need to limit my activity. I can drive & leave the apartment, but she doesn't want me walking much and no stairs. She said I can go back to work but for very limited hours and that she'd prefer I work from home, which I told her isn't a possibility w/ what I do. And she doesn't "like" my commute. I told her that's the only way for me to get to work. So that leaves me confused as to what to do for work. Just talked to my boss and we're going to talk to HR and figure out what to do...disability or me coming in for a few hours. That doesn't really solve the commute thing though.

Took the glucose. :hurl: Not sure how I did, they said it takes 2 weeks for the results

I was upstairs and in bed, but I had to come check to see if you posted yet.

Good to hear you're not on total bedrest anymore, but the work thing is a sticky situation. What I'm most shocked about is that they want to wait 3 weeks until you go back again. I would have thought they would bring you back sooner than that. That is also strange about the glucose taking 2 weeks. I guess they have to send it out and wait for the results to come back  I know DH looked mine up the computer the next day.

The doctor wasn't exactly clear. But she did say she didn't like your commute, so you really have to consider that.
Definately need to consider it. I'm not going in tomorrow, and my boss & HR are going to call me so we can figure it out.
Nicoooole! I was just leaving.
But thanks...I like it, too!

And...good night.
Tell Luke to SLEEP, please.
Love you.

Well, the 3 weeks is just my next appointment. She never gave me a difinitive time frame, but on the letter that they wrote up for work it gives me the 3 week timeframe. She does want me to have the ultrasound before then to check it to see if it's improved at all in that amount of time. So maybe because it's only been a week since the last one, maybe it wouldn't have changed that much since then? That's my guess as to why.
No clue on the glucose thing, I didn't think it would take that long either.
