Does Disney enjoy taunting us or do they have a plan?

I don't really understand a few if the choices the WDC makes. I was on the Disney pin trading website today and they showcased a SSE pin with the blurb under it saying, "doesn't it make you want to sing Tomorrows Child." Now when I read this I view it as Disney acknowledging that song is better then the emptiness they now have. I ask, is this constant reference to the past merely a money grab at our nostalgia or some way of saying "Hey we know what you want and were trying here." I mean the constant flux of Dreamfinder, Adventurers Club, Horizons, etc. is at times astounding. My question isn't "When are they bringing back Horizon's", it's just with these little hints to the past, is Disney actively trying to make good on some of these or is it just them oblivious.

Disney sees dollar signs. They know that there is a segment of their fan base that will throw down hard earned cash on nostalgia. Disney is simply giving them what they want with a healthy mark up.

^^^ What he said.

Disney doesn't care... They're not sending subliminal messages.

They simply know that there's a crazed group of people that will spend money on things they miss from their "Disney life". So they toss Dreamfinder on a pin, because they know there are thousands of people that will buy it probably just for that reason alone.

An educated guess on my part is that they sit around laughing at people like us that spend money on those sorts of things.

It's a money grab. You're nothing but a wallet to them because you're hooked. They know they could ask you what your favorite attraction is, then go get in a bulldozer and knock it down while you watch, and you're still going to come back; so they don't care what you want when it comes to the parks.

What they do care about, however, is what they can get you to buy. And if they can get a bunch of people to pay $10 on a pin, based on nostalgia, they'll sell that pin.
