Ever since i got the Disney bug in 1986, at the end of every trip...I always take pictures of the room, take all of the papers they give you at check-in, etc...
Sometimes i even take the toilet paper rolls wrapped in the mickey mouse paper. Does anyone ever do this too? It's always so hard to go home after visiting such a magical place.

Whoa .. that is sort of weird. Who would do such a thing? Ha -- just kidding. Of course I keep all of that stuff*! ... hehe

But I do save everything... (napkins, receipts,bags, etc.)

I bring back the soaps to give to a friend's kid. I do keep the little map from the resort and all the park maps, stuff like that. I'd need to build a bigger house to keep anything more than that. :)

We even kept a receipt from the hot dogs we had at Casey's Corner during MNSSHP. Every time we happen upon it, we remember sitting there eating while the first parade went by.

We always take the soap and the little bottles of shampoo. And of course we always take extra maps and all that fun stuff. We don’t take the TP but if it was double quilted then maybe.:hammer: I think I can say with certainty you are not alone, we are all Disney nerds here, well at least I am.:lol:

I recently found receipts from my honeymoon in 1996. I also have the park maps from then. My daughter enjoyed looking at them to see what's changed. I have napkins too. Yeah, I guess I'm a little strange too!

I have park maps from 2006 and 2007 on one wall in my room. I added Walt quotes and each park's dedication. I'm in the process of getting a big picture of Figment, too. What can I say, I'm a nerd. :D

EDIT: I don't think I took anything from the hotel the one time I stayed on property (Band trip, 2006). Then again, we pretty much rushed out of the room on the last day, so I didn't think of it. If I had time to think about it, I probably would have grabbed a soap or something.

I didn't know about the TP! But I do take those Mickey soaps. I have a pack full of them at home, haha. But I always save the room keys, tickets, maps, etc.

I did not know about the TP either but we've been staying at the Pop and I am sure there was no Mickey Mouse wrap on that paper. We loved the Pop and always stay there when we return to the World. However we went to the Poly to browse the resort and I come running out of the restroom all excited and my hubby did not know what had me so overwhelmed with joy ...I told him, "Honey Honey the have real toilet paper here!!!!" It was funny!...ha ha :lookaroun .......:eek:

Never taken the TP but we do take the leftover shampoo, soap and all of the papers from check-in, park maps, receipts, etc. I buy a photo album each trip and include receipts, room keys, etc. at the back of the album. We take pictures of the room number outside the door, the door of the room and the inside before it gets all messed up. It's fun to look back and remember.

We take the shampoo and the soaps too. Didn't think about the TP.....

But we also make sure we grab lots of disney napkins while in the parks etc. and then we bring them home and some times during the year i put them in my daughters lunch ( or my wife puts them in mine) for an extra special disney moment during the day when we are not at the parks.
