Do you think Disney will finally fix the Yeti after Universal opens their new King Kong ride?

Hardly. Two or three seconds -as the train decelerates - to leave a lasting impression at the finale of the ride.

If it wasn't important it wouldn't have been designed, built and installed.

But, if you don't "get it" you possibly never will.

Oh I do get "it".....but the "it" is something idiotic. You can still get the lasting impression from the Yeti itself being there. Whether its arm moves or not doesn't take away anything.

Yes....minor and trivial....and EXTREMELY so for an effect that is only seen for a split second. If it were something located in the ride queue itself that the crowds would regularly pass by and could see for much longer than a split second, then I could see making a fuss over it. It would then be likened to the Mr. Potato Head animatronic from TSMM not working. Your "facts" are irrelevant, as are my juvenile and petty remarks in response. Keep them flowing if you want me to keep looking the fool.
It is definitely not minor or trivial. The detailed queue is a build up to the climax which is now broken.

You need to stop calling others idiotic just because they don't agree with your opinion.

People can fall out with you real quick because of that.

Please go back and re-read. I didn't call any person or persons idiotic. I called what they're arguing about to be idiotic. There is a difference.

Fairly certain you can't determine what the arm moving (or not) takes away from others. Stick to speaking for yourself....

Well if these ones complaining about it are so upset......are they refusing to ride EE at all over it? I've never heard of anyone do that, so clearly I can say whether or not it's actually taking something away.

Riding EE or not isn't the question. Bringing the ride up to it's proper (and original) state is....

And again, you're not speaking for all, simply yourself. Learn to differentiate between the two....

I've never understood the complaining over the Yeti on EE. At that point in the ride, you're moving so quickly in that section you might see it for what, 1-2 seconds? The strobe effect does perfectly fine. Making the thing move won't really accomplish much.

Did you ride it during passholder previews and had it swipe at your head?

You just said the figure isn't the climax...

Riding EE or not has everything to do with whether or not fixing the Yeti is as important as some are trying to say it is. Clearly it's not that important and doesn't ruin their ride experience completely if they're still riding it.
