Do you read the news?

The most I keep in touch w. the real world while on vacation is having Good Morning America or something on while we get ready in the morning, but that's really it. I don't even really bring my phone to the parks, I have no interest in whats going on outside my vacation, and, for security purposes, I don't post pictures or anything else about being on vacation on FB or Twitter til I'm home and it's done. My settings are very private, but you never know!

As much as I love iPhones I now have to say I'd like to step on my kids iPhones from time to time. Going to need to pay for surgery for carpel thumbs someday.[/quote]
Check out the book Goodnight ipad by Ann Droyd. If your house is like mine, this book (a modern twist on Goodnight Moon) really hits home.

I usually don't check the news, but DH does. He will also sneak in work calls too. He doesn't think I notice, but I do;)

Back when Disney provided newspapers at my door every morning, I read them every morning. Now that they don't, I just do puzzles in my GAMES magazine in the morning.

I don't read the news on my phone. If I zoom in on the type so that it's readable, the most I can get on a screen is one paragraph. One paragraph per screen = Excessive scrolling. Excessive scrolling = Losing interest. Losing interest = Turning off phone.
