Always eat dinner at Big River Grill the first night and always see the 3:00 parade at the MK just before we leave to come home.

The night before we leave my husband and I get a babysitter for our son for the evening, and head to MK where we get ice cream or a dessert, and watch Wishes together....just the two of us.

Cocktails.

:sohappy:aaahhh yes, me too! Never too early when you are on vacation.
Our ritual is watching the Boarwalk performers while waiting for our table at Flying Fish Cafe, then buying mickey sugar cookies from Seashore Sweets even though we ate like there was no tomorrow at dinner.:slurp:

I also go to DTD... but not until after I take the bus to MK, ride the monorail through the hotels, then switch over at T&T, and ride it to Epcot. After that, it's dinner, shopping, and going to DisneyQuest.

I also always have to have a Mickey Ice Cream, and a Dole Whip (yummm :slurp:).

Agreed, My vacation starts the second I step into Newark Airport. Mimosa's before the flight, starts the entire vacation off on the right foot. We always fly JetBlue as well, and the last couple times, they were offering a free cocktail to JetBlue Amex holders. So the flight was fun as well. :ROFLOL:

I have way too much energy! haha. :ROFLOL: When I went down in March, we were there for Universal and I was in Orlando area for by myself the first day.... so I hopped on Florida transit, took it to downtown Disney, walked through the shops, THEN went and did the monorail part. All in a three hour time span.

After arriving and checking in/storing luggage we head to DtD for lunch or dinner depending. Usually we eat at Captain Jack's but that has been known to change on occasion.
Ahh...it's driving me nuts since i don't know when I'll be heading to the world again

EPCOT first. Ride SSE. first ride. (my favorite ride.)

MK last. Ride PoTC last.

The SSE first thing is because EPCOT is my favorite park and SSE is my favorite ride there. The sights and smell of SSE just signifies being at Disney.

Riding PoTC last really has no meaning...just the past few times we happened to be in MK and Pirates had a short line and then this year we were like "hey, that was our last ride last time"...so we made it a part of the ritual

Mk & cp

So far we have been on 3 family trips & on every trip we must make MK our first & last park of the trip. The Castle is the first & last thing we have to see. Another tradition, which came to be by accident has been Crystal Palace. So far on every trip we've eating at CP & this coming trip in September is no different. We'll go to MK our first day & have breakfast at CP.

Well, we always stay at Carribean Beach Resort, and have breakfast at Old Port Royale in the morning, eating outside and being swarmed by all the birds! In the parks, at MK, we always head up Main Street and make a left, which means Swiss Family Robinson Tree House is the first attraction!

I sacrifice a chipmunk in front of the "Partners" statue and pray to Walt for good weather. Never a good day to be Chip or Dale.
