It is called confirmation bias. If you have already decided that fans don't know how to run a business, there's no point in asking the question. You already made up your mind, and posted it "The problem isn't so much fans seeing something wrong with the parks, it's that [fans] seem to know what's going on better than management, and as such, they, the fans, should be the ones in charge." and just above you repeat the same sentiment, which I bolded.
And of course, there's the other big tell....hyperbole. You didn't ask if fans sometimes know better, you asked if fans always know better. If you simply wanted to know what we thought about the petition, you could have asked our opinion of it.
You go on to say you don't like negativity, but your own words bolded above are a put-down, and I dare-say, a very tired trope on these boards.
