The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will stream live on Disney+ on November 3 at 8pm ET.

"For the first time ever, viewers will be able to watch a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony live without being there in the flesh. On Thursday (Sept. 28) morning, the Rock Hall announced that the 2023 ceremony will be streaming live on Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET when it takes over Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Nov. 3. In past years, an edited version of each Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony aired on HBO several weeks following the in-person event; now, that edited broadcast of highlights will air on ABC come Jan. 1, 2024, from 8-11 p.m. ET."

Only Canada for now?

Are they going for full on bans for sharing accounts?
Initial rollout to begin in Canada, other regions by the end of this year and early next year.

Based on how its worded it appears for higher cost tiers you can have additional "users" outside your immediate household. They appear to be doing the same as what Netflix is doing, allow additional "users" for higher cost tiers but for cheaper tiers everyone has to have their own account if they don't live in the same house.

So if you want to "share" be prepared to pay more.

Could they please just rename this the popular music hall of fame already? What is so R&R about Willie Nelson?

I get the arguments, but the R&R is more attitude and Influence… I think of just Rock being a sub genre… with the term R&R being more encompassing… personally I think Willie Nelson is pretty R&R

Willie while primarily known as a folk and country performer has collaborated with and influenced many of rock's greatest artists over his entire career.

Being inducted into the Hall of Fame does require the person solely to have performed in the rock genre.

You don’t think it’s a systemic problem that a company with the catalogue and history of Disney can only rely on a licensed series to keep children’s eyeballs?

Judging the the ongoing streaming numbers of many Disney made products (e.g. Moana, Encanto historically, Elemental right now, etc) that's not really a accurate complaint.

Though, yes, Bluey is very popular. Amongst other children's programming on the streamer.
