Ummm... ultimate source is "Puck."
And the little bit of digging I've done is that they just spout opinions and repeat gossip. Puck is one of those 'newsletters' that pop up whose website doesn't even have an "about" page. Their byline is "Puck begins where news ends."
Unintentionally irony.
But the nerd site 'aggregators' eat that stuff up and magnify it as 'news.'
When Deadline or Variety cover the story, I'll give it some credence.
