Well he's not wrong though. Dumbo is up there with Bambi as one one of the most recognizable Disney Characters and from the early years of Disney Animation Studios. Baby Yoda/Grogu ( from LucasFilms) and is far too recent alongside being from a Disney+ series that's not even a decade old.

Well he's not wrong though. Dumbo is up there with Bambi as one one of the most recognizable Disney Characters and from the early years of Disney Animation Studios. Baby Yoda/Grogu ( from LucasFilms) and is far too recent alongside being from a Disney+ series that's not even a decade old.

He likely is wrong. As you stated, “early years.” Dumbo is rarely used/seen nowadays, and I would argue he’s not very iconic at all. Same with Bambi. Grogu, at this point, likely is more recognizable and more iconic than Dumbo, thanks to social media and simply being created in the 21st century in general. The amount of time that’s passed doesn’t matter.

Well-known/recognizable and iconic are not the same thing.
