I could see them wanting to build a larger LEGO store in its place.
iu

It might need to be a little bigger.

I wonder what’s going there especially since it seems Din Tai Fung and Earl are going in the new area where the AMC was.

"...plus masterful Mexican cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán at Paseo and Céntrico..."

Looks like Tortilla Jo's will become Céntrico. 2 Mexican restaurants.

But how do you know that Tortilla Joes is being rebranded as Centrico unless I missed that? I’m under the impression that Centrico is a brand new restaurant with different owners.

Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytan will bring his inclusive vision of Mexican cuisine to Paseo and Centrico in the locations currently occupied by Catal & Uva Bar, brought to life by Patina Restaurant Group.
In other words, one is replacing Catal and one is replacing the Uva Bar. Not sure which is which.

Beignets Expressed is a very unappetizing name.

It makes me think of an unpleasant procedure some dogs need from time to time.

Correct. Just like they can't understand that the announcements at the latest D23 event were only proposed, blue-sky things, not actually greenlit things coming to the parks.
Exactly. I know clickbait Disney news site are heavily to blame for the misunderstanding, but I still expect hardcore theme park fans to know better.

I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney is actually doing noise studies on the area in relation to a potential expansion, but mostly so they can go "ah see we're not going to move ahead with this out of respect for you, the Anaheim resident! Now give us our Harbor bridge".
Funny given how the city wants the bridge more than Disney does for improved traffic flow.

So I’m just wondering if Disneyland Forward happens what do they do about those hotel sight lines? They’re much taller the Grand Californian which was also designed simultaneously with Grizzly Peak. How do you make Moana land work with
the Disneyland and Pixar Place hotels towering over it? I know they have some tricks up their sleeves but it seems like a difficult task and I don’t imagine the hotels will be completely hidden from view no matter what they do.

It’s also not just about the park guests they also have to keep the hotel guests in mind. What views will those guests have from their room? Unsightly Evac ducts on top of show buildings? They re going to have to do 360 theming in most of that proposed expansion space.

What intrigues me most about this project is how the new park or expansions of DCA and DL would be integrated with DTD and the grounds surrounding the hotels. If it becomes a third park what creative way do they have you cross the current Simba lot and then in between the Disney Hotel/ DTD to get to the other side of the new park while keeping out the outside world?

I think it’s much more likely that if any part of this project happens it just becomes a DCA expansion on the Simba lot at first. Then maybe years down the line a DL expansion on the other side.
