Yeah it’s not 1st on my list, or 30th, lol. I’ve already been to Miami which was nice.

If the rumors are true, it would be on that side of the land that butts up against Main St. So yes likely it would be where Star Tours is located today.Would TRON fit where Star Tours is?
Luxo was working this weekend when I was there. Because he is outdoors exposed I assume he is more susceptible to the elements. So likely they shut him down when its raining or even a potential for rain. While it wouldn’t last long in working order (I’m looking at you luxo ) it would be a nice nod if the future Tomorrowland has a peoplemover that just shuttles back and forth. Even now it seems like it wouldn’t take much to have something going back and forth around the entrance.

You're taking the entire footprint which includes the outdoor portions, not just the show building. I believe this was already discussed several pages ago.
I would assume they would dress it up somehow if they brought it to DLR.My issue with Tron is would they be able to hide the big boxy building?
you don’t need to gut the entire land to add TRON... if it’s going to face the hub that takes over the Star Tours building and??? But would leave the back portion like subs and autopia. (Not saying they couldn’t go away for something else.... but how much money are we really expecting them to throw at this).
The "big boxy" show building/entrance would likely be in the footprint of where the Carousel building is. They disguised much larger showbuildings in Galaxy's Edge, so I would think they could make it nice enough aesthetically in TL.
In theory, only a section of the track would head towards the berm, probably one of the turns. This would likely be elevated a 2-3 stories, with the pedestrian entrance below it to enter the land. This mock had the right idea I believe.
Its a coaster, you can change a bunch of things with it. There is not a single configuration. That is why taking what is currently set in Shanghai is not accurate in trying say if it will or won't fit. That would make sense.... assuming it’s easy to change the outdoor portion, you could run the outdoor portion through Tomorrowland people-mover style and keep some of the existing show buildings. Interesting

The outdoor portion of the track can be reconfigured, and so can the show building for that matter. If it is coming to DL it won't be a direct clone, it'll be reconfigured to fit into TL.
Also the rumor is they would gut the entire land except Space Mountain. So they would have plenty of room to put Tron.
Exactly, that’s what I meant when I said that this would be what Rocket Rods was intending to be.That would make sense.... assuming it’s easy to change the outdoor portion, you could run the outdoor portion through Tomorrowland people-mover style and keep some of the existing show buildings. You do realize if the rumor is true its not going to be a direct clone right? I know you guys like to do a copy/paste type of visual but it doesn't work that way in real life. Just because Shanghai Tron has a show building xyz big doesn't mean they will use the same size or even the same configuration in DLR.
