Could we PLEASE have a sit down restraunt in Tomorrowland. Neither Disneyland or Disney World have a restraunt inside Tomorrowland. I think it would be an interesting idea.

I guess that'd be alright. I think the Galaxy Palace could be a sit down resturaunt.

Hey, Imagineer Boy, do you mind if I design a water park for your park. Though I also had it in mind for Disneyland Marceline, I think the weather in Texas would be better for a water park. I call it Fantasy Cove, and the theme is of all the aquatic adventures in Disney films. I have several rides in mind already:
Monstro: A family water raft ride that goes through Monstro's trippy internal organs and out the mouth.
A Finding Nemo mini area with three main attractions:
The Swirling Vortex of Peril: A "Toilet Bowl" slide through the EAC
The Tank: Kid's play area with a "Water Curtain" around it, giving an illusion of being in a fishtank. The water curtain is basically a waterfall, that creates a wall, yet can easily be passed through. As for other things, you can climb through the Tiki's and go down a waterslide at the top of Mount Wannahackaloogie. Every 15 minutes, Mount Wannahackaloogie erupts, splashing all the kids in the tank play area.
Bruce's Cove: Similar to the shark diving area in Typhoon Lagoon, with friendlier species of Shark that have made a full recovery from their bloodthirsty habit and model members of Fish Anonymous(not sure, as I haven't seen the movie in a while)
As for other areas, themes covered will include Captain Hook's Pirate Ship from Peter Pan, a Little Mermaid area, a 20K area(maybe a lazy river ride aroung Vulcania?), and a Hawaiian themed Wave Pool for Lilo and Stitch.

This sounds great, lots of original ideas as well as enhanced takes on the classics. As (unofficial) resident concept artist of the forum, I have one thing to say...

TELL ME WHAT TO DRAW.... :D

Alright, calm down. I already told you, this isn't the type of group project where someone designs a land and we put it together. This is basicly my project that I started where people help me with my designs and throw in many ideas and work on different things, and I'll put in my in put. You can suggest a few tomorrowland ideas if you want.

Tahu: I really like your idea for the water park, but I'm not sure the whole theme overal just won't work as a water park as a whole. But some of the ideas are really good. perhaps a few of those ideas could go in the themed swimming pool of one of the hotels like storm along bay. Actually, this just might work. One of the hotels along side of the lake is called Paradise Cove, and perhaps the whole Fantasey Cove concept could go into the hotel's pool area. Do you have anymore water park theme ideas?

shao: Cool! I like to draw concept art too, and you can draw a few things! Perhaps exteriors to rides like Snow White, AE, Time Adventure, and Buzz.

Imagineer Boy, I like Tahu's idea as it being a water park...I think it would work just fine! It is too complex for one hotel's pool and it would be HUGE!

Tahu- Great Idea! I could kinda picture it as I was reading along...sounds fun!

Haha. Sorry. The pitchfork thing was about moving, just for clarity. I think that for Tomorrowldan/ Discoveryland, there should be a Discovery Mountain, like in the original plans for Disneyland Paris. In terms of hotels, I think there should be something for each of the great ancient civilizations, such as Greek, Egyptian, Mayan, Roman, et cetera.

I think we are trying to put to much into Tomorrowland. One thing I can't stand about every Tomorrowland out there is how they do not match the theme of each Tomorrowland.

If we want to do a 1950s retro style, many of these attractions do not fit. The 1950's future was a cold, hopeful look at tomorrow, hence the original Tomorrowland with its white, geometric buildings and rides that had to be changed quickly becuase the were becoming the present. The 1950s is a hard time to place our attractions in. Alien Encounter is to dark. Buzz Lightyear is to bright.

If we want to go with the '50s, it would include a major reworking of all the rides. None of them could be copied except the PeopleMover and Space Mountain.

Oh, no no no. Its not going to be like that. Its going to have a cross of what WDW has with more Buck Rogers, and 1950s sci fi. Know what I mean? The colors are purple, silver, dark blue, greens, and gold. See sort of what I mean?

I got it!

Well then, since we got that straightened up, i have a few ideas for the sit-down restraunt and the show in Tomorrowland.

For the restraunt, I think we should change the name. Make it like the restraunt was opened by a famous chef (a la Wolfgang Puck). We can make it a very interesting name, and name the dishes after "alien animals."

For the show I was thinking about a mix between Cirque du Soleil and the Lion King on Broadway. Singing, dancing, acrobats. We could look to Cirque du Soleil's Mystere for ideas on costuming, music, and acting.

It could be a very interesting show. Tell my what you think.

I like the idea for the resturaunt's name to change to an alien chef's name ( like cosmic ray's ) so we need to think of a name for it. As for the food names to be after alien animals... well, I think guests may find it a bit bizar. perhaps lets keep the names space themed and simple ( like Blast off burges, space-ghetti, ect. )
As for the show, do you not like the Roger Rabbit's Dancin Time warp idea? The cirque du soleil show sounds interesting though. One more thing, perhaps this resturaunt could have an AA performer like Sonny Eclipse?

I realize that SpectroMan is in charge of restauran development, but here is my idea for a Tomorrowland restaurant. It would be called Club Orion, and have the atmosphere of a high-end Manhattan lounge, but be a little more casual. For the cuisine, I was thinking somewhere between Bonefish Grill and Cheesecake Factory, if you know what I mean. How does this sound?

Ok, I'm back. Here's a few thoughts on the water park thing. For the water park, I want something original with an original storyline and characters like Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I think the whole concept of Tahu's idea would make a great pool area for Paradise Bay Hotel. It won't use all of Tahu's ideas. One will be Lilo and Stitch's Ohana beach which will be along side the giant lake that most of the delux resorts and magic kingdom surround. There is a sand bottom pool with an after noon dinner show with Elvis impersonators. Next to the beach will be another themed swimming area based off of Finding Nemo with the Swirling vortex of death water slide, Mount Wamahakalookie water slides, and wading pool. You can work on this concept a bit more if you like Tahu. I'd also like to see if you have any more ideas for water parks. :sohappy:

Anyways, more detailed descriptions of shows with descriptions of the Parade's as well. :sohappy:

Again, Imagineer Boy, I think that Tahu's idea would work MUCH better as a water park than a hotel's pool area. I'm not positive on this, but I believe that more people would agree with me on this one. You would have so many more freedoms if you make it a waterpark. Just my thoughts.

Well, I don't know. Perhaps some of Tahu's ideas would do great for a kiddie water area for a water park like Typhoon Lagoon or some beach themed water park.

Right now, the main thing I want to focus on is the Parades and shows which are comming soon!

So, here's some of my thoughts for times on the night time shows.

All of the sunset Blast shows including World Rythems, Toon Town Bicentinial Celebration, Blazing Jazz Party, Western Ledgends Hoedown, and Once Upon a Time all start at 7:00 PM. All of the shows will almost be equal in length and will last until 7:45. The nightly fireworks show ( need help on this show ) will start at 9:00The show is about a half an hour long and will end at 9:30. THen will be the Fantasmic show which starts at 10:15 and ends at 10:30. By the end of the day, everyone will be exausted and be ready to sleep. :snore: Sound reasonable?

Ok, here is a detailed decription of Donald's Beach Party. The whole show takes place in a plaza across the mote from the Castle Forcourt stage. The audience stands around the whole plaza and watches the show take place in the center.

The theme song starts up and floats come out from backstage and into the center of the plaza. The main one comes out first which is a large colorful float with slides, tubes, water guns, ect. Donald Duck and performers are on top.

Next comes Mickey and Minnie on top of a cruise liner

Goofy arrives on a large ice cube with an igloo and the Marry Poppins Penguins on top.

Next is Nemo, Marlin, and Dory in a large fish tank with Mount Wamahakalookie in it.

Then is Hewey Dewy and Lewey in a duck submarine mounted with water guns.

Last there's Chip and Dale in a motor boat pulling Pluto on water skis.

Once all of the floats arrive, then dancers come out to teach the audience dance moves to the theme song. Then, surfin USA starts up and the audience can dance to that. Finally, the theme song starts up and all of the floats send showers of water at the audience and performers send Beach balls to bounce around in the audience as they get wet.

THen, an unexpected visitor arrives on a huge float. Pete appears at the top and ignites a fuse. THere is the sound of an explosion and water shoots up with the help of water cannons all around the seating area and gets the whole audience soaked. The theme song starts up again and the floats turn around and get the audience good and wet and leave.

There is definately more dialog, but I didn't feel like typing it all. I think I'm going to need help on the daily parade. Can anyone help me with this? THanks! :sohappy:
