And what drones can do now is substantially different than when they first started to be used.

Show elements are only bad when done poorly. Even fireworks can be unsatisfying (cf. Harmonious & Enchantment).

I have to say, I had’nt really seen anything done by drones, until recently when I went to Disneyland Paris.

Holy!! The drone tech is so cool. I did not expect it to be so impressive. More of that please!!

Totally agree. I didn't plan on being there on Bastille Day 2022, but my trip just lined up perfectly and the drones + fireworks for the Bastille Day fireworks were amazing. They even improved it this year with even more drones + fireworks!

Even the 30th preshow was so cool. Seeing the drones form the 30th logo which also forms Mickey ears on the castle was awesome to finally see in person. Wouldn't mind if they did that over in the states for some type of preshow or similar.

Even Stone Mountain Georgia has done some seriously great Drone Show Pyro shows with their laser nighttime shows for nearly a decade now.

And of course Universal Studios Florida is about to do some very cool stuff with them to enhance their nighttime shows.

There was internal resistance to building a log flume at Disneyland for a long time because "oh, every other amusement park has that."

Some of the drone shows around the world are quite spectacular. They aren't the county's fair version of a drone show.

It would be like saying, "Every county fair has a simplistic fireworks show, so, Disney should pass on fireworks for any of their parks."
