Disneyland Fantasmic Dragon Engulfed in Flames

I don’t remember hearing about MSEP returning this year. And even if it was rumoured, rumours can be false.

At this point I’d be shocked to see Fantasmic again before Halloween.

It was in the same Rumor that suggested that PTN returns to DL & MSEP returns to MK in 2024. The Rumor started floating End of March I believe?

We Know Rumors can Fail! Every MSEP/Night Parade back In MK Rumor has failed since DL got MSEP back in 2017. Whether COVID helped with that I'm not sure....

I'm assuming that Trolley Dancers Rumor from early June Failed as well........

Indeed. They're plans to bringing back Fantasmic this Labor day. However, given how massive dragon fire that hit the show, Fantasmic would give its suspension extended beyond Labor day.

MSEP was never planned to return this summer, and PTN especially wasn’t planned.

The rumor of a new Night Parade for MK has been kicking around for at least 5 years.

I don't doubt that those leaking the news of a replacement actually heard about plans for a new parade. It's just that Disney keeps putting it off and seems to refuse to pull the trigger.

So, my stance is: Rumors of a new night parade should be ignored until an insider can proclaim that the trigger has indeed been pulled... not that it's "the plan."

Well, @wdwmagic did confirm something was in the works which could mean Disney did pull the trigger. The question is did, or will, Disney turn around and take the ax to it like everything else.

Except for the fact that a pyro dragon, based on the exact same character was engulfed in flames prior and pyro safety is certainly under question because of precedence.
