Kinda like churros at Disneyland. They're fine, I've had better at Costco.
I do love Disneyland’s churros, but then again, I’ve never had one from Costco. I need to hop on that.
I was incredibly disappointed by VooDoo donuts. I can get a better donut for $1 at multiple places here in Corona.
Yep. And this goes for all doughnut chains, for the most part. The mom and pop doughnut shops across Southern California make better tasting and cheaper doughnuts than these chain doughnut names. Randy’s may be an exception, but if I want a doughnut, I’m almost always going to choose the shop that’s 5 minutes away from my home where I can get a tasty doughnut for ¢60.

I remember when Krispy Kreme was all the rage years ago. I never understood the desire of so many people to pay more for an inferior product. Eventually the hype wore off and people started using their brain again.

I think because it was so different than other donuts. I'm actually a fan but would not drive out of my way to get one. The last couple of times we've been to one, it was packed.

@raven24 As a local what's your honest opinion of Pinks? I've wound up there several times late night after bar curfew and enjoyed their hotdogs.
I like Pink’s, but I wouldn’t wait in that long line lol. I think they’re a bit overrated, but at the same time, maybe not. As you know, they offer a variety of crazy hot dogs and the only one I’m interested in is their chili cheese dog. Maybe that’s why I’m not a huge fan. If I actually tried some of their other options and enjoyed them, I’d most likely be a bigger fan.

I prefer Original Tommy’s.

I don't eat donuts or any other unhealthy foods. Despite the obesity epidemic in this country, all these fast food establishments continue to operate and thrive while cigarette smokers are treated like lepers because they choose to inhale delicious smoke that may cause cancer.
I didn’t know Matterhorn Macaroons were health food! I guess the coconut should have tipped me off.

We used to go to the Pinks at Knotts and I’ve been to the one at the Del Amo mall. Chili Cheese dog for the win!

At least the devastated APs have a new sticker for their cars. Yes, a Disney podcast/website is actually selling these 🤦🏻‍♂️

The faux VooDoo Donuts for us SoCal poseurs and tourists in City Walk?

Or the real VooDoo Donuts in downtown Portland in a cold drizzle at 2:30am after the bar closed?

I wandered into the Donut in San Pedro for a most delicious glazed a couple years ago. One of the best ever.

The Original Tommy's is excellent.
Pink's is good too for being an LA landmark. And their variety makes them stand out.

How do we all feel about Roscoe's??

Hahah true. I guess the only difference is if I walk by you while you are eating a donut, I’m not going to get fat.
