They lost me right here: "...alongside iconic moments from Disney and Pixar films like Turning Red...". 🤦‍♂️

I'll be able to see these things first-hand next year and judge for myself. But that line... Holy 💩 bag...
?

Are you saying there aren't any iconic moments in Disney and Pixar movies?
Because it doesn't say there are iconic moments in Turning Red. (Even if someone could argue that the giant panda is one)

The line suggests there are iconic moments in the named movie - "Iconic moments from Disney and Pixar films like Turning Red". Which is a steaming 💩 pile of a movie. Tangled was also mentioned, which actually has an iconic moment, along with Toy Story, Frozen, and dozens of other movies not named 'Turning Red'. Someone is trying to push that movie and I have no earthly clue why.

The public... it did quite well on streaming. You are of course very welcome to hate it, but it isn't an unpopular movie.

Turning Red is actually one of the best Pixar films in the last decade. It was a streaming dump due to Disney management, not because of its quality. Disney dumped 3 Pixar films in a row on streaming that were intended for theatrical release. Then they released Lightyear in theatres and also Moana 2, which was made with the intention of being a streaming show.
So how a company chooses to release the film doesn't have a strong correlation with quality. Disney just makes mediocre decisions on the regular.

Two things - first - that is what you're inferring from that sentence, but its not what it explicitly says.

Second, what about the movie makes it a steaming pile to you?

Bob did two Pixar movies an injustice - Luca was very good, and Soul was good. Turning Red was a dumpster full of horse 💩 on fire. Awful premise aimed at angst-filled 11-15 year old girls with overbearing mothers. Elemental was light years (no pun intended) better.

I may see how good Moana 2 is soon.

Anyway... my apologies for the derail, back to the actual topic of DL's 70th.

neither is paint the night 🤷‍♂️ or season of the force
Both of those have been around longer and (especially PTN) much more loved by the DL fans. They've been asking for PTN to come back basically since it ended.

You're straight out wrong with this statement.

I love PTN! I grew up with Spectromagic and have seen MSEP. I probably give the edge to Spectro based on nostalgia but it’s a really hard choice. Both PTN and Spectro are light years better then MSEP which, to quote an Adventureland resident, “Belongs in a Museum!”
