Not even 3 years lol, it played at Disneyland and DCA for a combined 26 months (2 years and 2 months) over its 10 year existence.
I was being generous and wasn't counting the 1 year hiatus it took after the 60th. But yeah you are correct, which makes it even newer.

Not to mention that PtN only ran for a short 3 years, so its practically still a new parade.
Well, in the case of PTN, I can't defend Disney at all, really.

Am I glad it's back? Yes. But there's really no excuse that they spent a sizeable amount on a new light parade that people really loved-only to reject it repeatedly for the beyond-tired MSEP and let their new showcase parade sit in a warehouse for reasons that were never explained and never made any sense.

The only real reason we got for that were unspecified "costuming issues"-issues that Disney absolutely had the resources to fix. And meanwhile, the HKDL version of the parade, identical save for *one float*, ran nightly until the pandemic hit.

The only reasonable conclusions that one can come to for PTN make Disney look anything but good.

Well I think it should have been running all this time, so I'll agree with you on that one. It should have made its return long ago. But just as you said about Wonderous Journey the same can be said about PtN, its fairly recent and fantastic. So its should fall under the same "acceptable that its returning" stance.

To be fair, Hong Kong hasn't had a parade since 2020. California might not get a brand new parade, but it has a running parade and its getting a returning second parade.

But did literally anyone ask for the Pixar parade to come back?

Just run Magic Happens and PTN at the same time, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we can't have nice things.

It is interesting that PTN hasn't run at HKDL since the pandemic. Glad they have a new parade.

I'm curious about how Hong Kong is gonna handle his anniversary, it looks surprisingly good
I just hope the Tokyo parks will get good anniversary celebrations again
The 20th of Disneysea was affected by Covid and the 40th of Tokyo Disneyland was affected by budget constraints
I'm hoping the 25th of DisneySea brings some charm again

“The show features state-of-the-art projection effects that transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, “it’s a small world” and the Rivers of America. On select nights, the show will be enhanced with fireworks

Well fireworks every night for anniversaries is now officially dead. Boo.

It's kind of a shame that the American Disney parks doesn't get anniversary parades anymore
Magic Happens was the last one

They always say this these days, but it will run the usual summer schedule. And the anniversary starts at that time. I’d expect fireworks nightly, unless weather cancels them.

It took 15 years for some new content at TSMM, and it's changing a number on a screen.

When I saw the TSMM image I thought “finally” only to see some “70’s.” Wow lol. That’s the kind of thing you don’t advertise. Especially on an attraction that would be so easy to update with new scenes.
