Even though I loudly said I would not be, ha. But as I delved into the runDisney wormhole, I saw that my AP expires 11/7....so this is the perfect opportunity for one final visit with the AP before it expires. Makes sense to me.

They have been, but there is a special pick-up booth if you get them in advance. I didn't get the DLR Star Wars pins in advance and the Expo line was too long.

We are in for the Lumiere challenge and are also doing Tinkerbell in May. Was there a place to indicate Coast to Coast during the W&D registration? I don't recall seeing it but I was a bit rushed.

I believe they track that for you. There was a question about Paris.
Had my curser hovering over the Lumiere at 11:58. Clicked on it just before 12:00 and went into a waiting line. After 3 minutes of nervously biting my nails, I was finally able to register! Even purchased one of the "training for...." shirts to get me motivated for training. So I've got my races (5k and Challenge) registered, merchandise ordered and resort reservation made. All I have left to do is train for my first half marathon...which will be during the lovely warm Florida summer. Umm, some of my distance running MAY be on that gym treadmill, lol.
Once the registration madness today is over, I'd go back in before registration is closed and order additional merchandise - I've done that before. There is a spot at the expo - cannot remember which building but will be on the guide - where you can pick up race specific and runDisney stuff - t-shirts, mugs, water bottles, car magnets, etc. I went the first day for the Princess Half weekend and a lot of the race specific stuff was picked over, especially merchandise for the longer races.
As @Texas84 said, the lines at the Expo will be crazy. Especially the one for people wanting to try on and purchase the Disney NB running shoes....
Correction: go to the Active.com account you set up when registering for the race. Click on My Account and select My events. You will see a list of events you've registered for and from there you can select the option to purchase additional merchandise. I can still buy stuff for the SW Dark Side 10k, which is in 17 days.

I wish the Active website would let you register for others - they need a selection for a small group, say nor more than 4 or 5. This having to go back in and register for your running partner is silly.

They used to. I've done it several times for family. I'm sure they posted this new rule somewhere and I missed it. Anyhoo, got him signed up through a travel agent already.
You would think given the increasing popularity of runDisney races, they would make this available. But glad you got him registered.
Just looked at the site - now 5k, in addition to the 10K and half, is sold out. And Challenge is still on hold.
