Has anyone seen a list of host resorts? They were limited last year but I'm wondering if they are going to have it for all resorts now that there is a challenge.

I am guessing that with the expanded race weekend including a 10K, the Challenge, and more kids races that there will be more people and that all Resorts will be Host Resorts. Kind of like the Race Weekend has officially "grown up."

We will see what happens.

And runDisney transportation is provided. Never stayed at the Swalphin...will have to try it some time.

I walked over to the Boardwalk and used their buses.

Played it safe and booked SSR this morning. The DVC site only crashed on me three times.

I called in and yes, ALL resorts are indeed host resorts. I asked three times while on the phone as I didn't want any misunderstandings

Question. Since the first MVMCP is November 7th, do you think the holiday decorations and lights will be up in most of the parks during the W&D weekend? In the past, the half is run the last day of the Food and Wine Festival, but this year it ends mid November.

Maybe. MK should be decorated. Everything else will probably be in progress. No Osborne lights this year.

Man, that's right, no Osborne Lights. So glad we visited last December to say goodbye. I'm hoping as the 5k is now called the Mickey's Holiday 5k (what was wrong with the name Jingle Jungle 5K? It is in DAK....), Animal Kingdom will be decorated. Love the big decorated tree at the entrance.

Now I have to figure out which pair of ears to wear. Do I wear one of my Christmas ears? Animal print ears? No ears? Bells on my running shoes like the Jingle run back home during the Winter Festival? Too many decisions.....

MK should be decorated.

In the past, AK should ALWAYS have been decorated for the Christmas themed race, but some years it was, and other years it was not. No Osborne Lights puts a huge hole in the entertainment factor of the half, but I am giving it a whirl anyway.

FYI, Training programs for W&D are updated and begin on Tuesday, July 5th.

I think last year I went to Studios the Tuesday after Wine and Dine and the tree was up. I don't know if it was the first day or not though.
Still so bummed about no Osborne Lights.

Guess I wasn't clear. The W&D half at night started at WWoS and finished at Epcot for the party. I'm wondering if this year's morning W&D will switch to the Dark Side course which starts at Epcot and end at WWoS.

Mmm... Not loving it, but it's not completely awful. I think it's the white - I'm not a fan of the color fills. I still think the inaugural design is the best.
