That's good at least lol. My parents were trying for the 10k and didn't get in. I don't know f they'll try next week though since my dad will be in Florida.
I guess I should be on runDisney earlier than 10:59 next week..;)

Doesn't matter. Site doesn't open until the posted time. However, start clicking on the race you want starting at 5 minutes before.... ;)

Yeah, I know. But at 11 am, I was still going through the DVC site to get to the registration because my laptop is slow lol. I'll probably use my phone next week because my 8 year old laptop tends to crash unexpectedly. o:)

I had both IE and Chrome open because sometimes IE is the virus my computer genius brother claims it to be...and slow.... Neither browser got me into the challenge. :(

I'm now officially ed at Active. The Half Marathon just opened back up, I selected it, started to fill out my form and boom, I got this message:

"PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Yikes! We’re unable to reserve 2016 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend - Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon - Individual at this time. Don’t lose hope! Someone may abandon their order. (It happens!) Click here to try again."

Grrr. On to next Tuesday.

This happened with the first year of DLR Star Wars. Early registration for the challenge went in minutes and I was able to get in during regular registration.

Thanks for the info, @Texas84. This is going to be my first half marathon and I was bummed that I might not be able to register. Will be hovering over my keyboard at 11:55 on the 29th.

"On hold" does not equal sold out. Think of "on hold" like a telephone busy signal. On hold means that the servers have reached capacity for the number of people that can be in the registration process at one time. Once others have finished registering, new people will be allowed to register.

A very busy signal.... Got tired of trying after an hour, so will try again next Tuesday.

ok, sorry for yet another noob question. I am trying to register for my first 5k at Disney and want to make sure I know a few items.

1: What time next Tuesday does registration open?

2: I have an Active.com account setup for my wife and myself, do I find registration thru there or thru the runDisney website?

3: Can I register both of us at the same time or will I have to do it twice?

1: Noon eastern
2: The runDisney.com link should take you to Active. Best to login at that point, IMO.
3: After a registration it used to ask if you want to do another so you could use one Active account. Subject to change I'm sure. Maybe someone who got in early can chime in.
