So I called, got a very helpful young lady who emailed me the link and I'm in for the Two Course Challenge. 👍

Someone asked about merchandise. They've got the usual - pin bundles for the races, weekend bundle, etc. But no race weekend jacket.
Curious, what are the prices on the merch.

Passholder bundle is $70 - no option for a t-shirt; Weekend bundle is $50 (shoe ornament, pin and magnet); Challenge logo pin bundle (pin for Challenge, Half and 10K) is $50; the race runner bundles (race pin, medal replica pin and magnet) are $45.

There's no bundle for the Challenge that includes 9 pins - 3 for each race - as there has been in the past.

That’s surprisingly cheap? I expected it to be more expensive.

That’s great! I’m so glad they were able to get everything straightened out. I’m sure that’s quite a relief!

Thanks...and it was.

Let's just hope the kinks are worked out before registration opens for the Full.

Question. Someone indicated on FB they registered for W&D via charity. Has anyone gotten an email from a rD charity about W&D? I did the 5K last year through GKTW and was hoping if I can't register via rD next week I can through their organization. Checked their website earlier and they've got nothing listed.

Not for W&D, but the charity I've ran for before asked me what race(s) I wanted to run in and once they got approval he would reach out to secure my spot on the team.

I'm guessing those that have ran for charity before, reached out to their contact and inquired about being on their team again and maybe they were told yes once they get approved.

Edit: Charities were expecting to be told sometime this week.

I may drop GKTW a note to see if they've heard anything.

I ended up submitting an interest form for the Potterhead Running Club charity group for Marathon Weekend, and they had to send in their desired bib quantities to rD by last Friday morning. They hoped to receive approval early this week, so it sounds like they wanted everything set before W&D general registration opened.

I’m at the point where I am basically ready to start planning a trip. That being said, I am still between the Springtime Weekend and Wine & Dine.

In a normal year, when do they start announcing when Wine & Dine is for next year. When does registration normally happen?

I don’t really want to wait all the way to Wine & Dine to run my first race in person. It’s probably the best value to do so though. I want to see what the theme is in the Springtime Surprise. That will dictate which weekend I go with.

By November of next year, I (hope) most of the construction will be done. I could also celebrate with the Christmas celebrations. I would also like to participate in a challenge which I know Wine & Dine has and Springtime may not have.

EDIT: Also, Wine & Dine has the after party. Either way, I plan on participating in the events I don’t go in person for virtually in some way.

I registered for the 2019 W&D in March 2019. The 2019-20 race calendar was released in December 2018.

The 2020-2021 calendar was released in October 2019. Registration for 2020 W&D was March 10, 2020. Before everything fell apart. If I remember, they cancelled the 2020 SW during that years Princess...or shortly there after. But I was able to register for the in person 2020 W&D in March of 2020, before they switched to virtual in July 2020.

ETA: SW cancellation was announced March 20th.

So dates in October-December
Registration in March
Training starts June-July

It’s usually that first week in November?

I’m actually quite surprised about no jacket (and bummed of course). Figured they make the most off it anyways. We always get it as a tradition. Still excited to be able to race live again(if we get in next week of course 😉)...can’t believe it’s been over a year for us.
