Given the huge popularity of the Twighlight Saga, should Disney pursue licensing rights for a themed area of one of their parks?

Um, Nah... The franchise is at the end and if they tried to get it now then it would open and the tweens who loved it would be teens who love the next great love story... a Zombie and a mortal  :lookaroun

BTW, I think we should switch you back to decalf coffee...

Um, what does my coffee preference have to do with then greatest movie series since Lord of the Rings? I think Twilight could be Disney's final reply to WWoHP.

The greatest movie since Lord of the Rings? surely you jest.

:lookaroun who me?

Yes I jest, but thought I would throw the topic out there for discussion since it is a popular movie and book.

Oh, and it looks like The Hobbit is going to be just as amazing as it's sequel.

Toss the vampire prats in with the blue-tinted ones from Avatar. Might be the fittest way to finally make AK a nighttime park....

Oh my gosh, NO. That's the worst movie series to ever come into existence, IMHO. The books are pretty good, but the movies absolutely not.

Agreed with WDWmazparty, would prefer the Lord of the Rings.

as for the movies, I value them for two reasons... cinematography and the music/score. They do a GREAT job with these two things. Sure, the subject matter isn't very original but it's well done for what it is.

If Disney does anything with the Twilight Saga (ESPECIALLY the movies) I will walk into access control and hand over my CM ID and never step foot in the place again. The entire series is so below Disney's standards it's ridiculous.
