Kathryn Bigelow, director of "The Hurt Locker", is said to be working on a "death of bin laden" film. Could be related. Not sure that film has been attached to a studio yet.

A movie about the killing of the man that planned 9/11 doesn't really seem like Dosney material, you know what I mean?:hammer: But maybe they would incorperate the Royal Wedding. It would be just like all the classic Disney movies!!!

Touchstone Pictures, come on people. Although I would 100% not be surprised if Disney pumped out a direct to dvd movie about a soccer team with six seals helping a ragtag group of kids overcome the odds to win the championship.

If the movie gets made, even if Disney doesn't get it, they could sell the rights for a pretty penny.

"Seal Buddies", you'll love it! If not this one, one of the next 10 perhaps? :dazzle:

My first thought was a sequel to the 2005 film, The Pacifier, with Vin Diesel, and a reuniting of the 5 kids with him, (who was a Navy Seal), on a new mission with the six of them. It's plausible...

Well I guess the cat is out of the bag. This is actually for a new attraction at Epcot (will be taking the place of Journey into Imagination with Figment). It will use the same ride system as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, only it will add 3D and each seat will have an AR-15 tethered to it.

Here is the official Disney Description which was smuggled out by a bus driver:

Accept the role of a Junior seal, board classified stealth Black Hawks and blast away at Evil Osama's Terrorist minions with AR-15s. Osama is attempting to steal freedom from helpless Americans to power a weapon of ultimate destruction, and Seal Team Six is tasked by Lead Seal Figment to stop him. Now Figment needs the help of Junior Seals to thwart the Evil Terrorists dastardly plans.

Spin your Black Hawk any direction you wish. Every time you hit a target, you're rewarded with fun sounds, special effects, and points are added to your total score. Players can compete with each other for the highest score or try to attain a new personal best. You are even assigned a Seal Team Six rank, based on your performance. The lowest rank is the humble "Pup Seal," but advanced players can challenge themselves to reach the highest rank, "Hero of Freedom."

The attraction mixes familiar video game elements with a Desert Tan physical environment to create a dazzling new experience that will entertain both expert gamers and Guests who have always enjoyed classic Disney dark rides.

Seal Team Six: Operation Imagination will be located in the Imagination! Pavilion in Epcot's Future World.

Hah... well done. However, I actually imagine this is for a movie.

Just some further info about the SEAL team. There has not been a SEAL Team 6 since the mid 1980's. It was decommisioned and reformed under what is now The United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU). There are other SEAL teams (1, 2, 3 etc) that operate under the US Navy, but DEVGRU operates under JSOG, which oversees counter terrorism units from the Air Force and Army as well.

So, since there isn't a real SEAL Team 6, it would be pretty easy for Disney to trademark.

In the grand scheme of things, there never was a SEAL Team Six at least as far as the public knows. Kind of like the NSA, which stands for No Such Agency.

Far be it from me to engage in the Internet's greatest pastime (telling someone they're wrong)...

There is and there isn't a "SEAL Team 6". You're correct that the name SEAL Team Six was changed in 1987 (and FYI, it was changed again in October of 2010 from DEVGRU but the name hasn't been leaked or declassified) and that there are other SEAL Teams (1-10 minus "6"). The group is still unofficially known as SEAL Team Six. But, there actually is no SEAL Team Six. What do I mean? Well, each of the other SEAL teams train together to perform various missions. But when there's a *really* serious mission (like say, killing the number one terrorist on the planet), the Navy and Joint Chiefs will get together the best of each of the other teams and train them together for one specific mission, rather than an overarching mission (like objectives in the Iraq War as an example). So "SEAL Team Six" is now sort of an "All-Star SEAL Team" that only is formed when needed; hence why it does and doesn't exist.

At one time there was only Seal Team 1 & 2. Seal Team six was named so the "bad guys" would assume there was also a Seal Team 3,4,5. True story. What a strange conversion for a Disney site.
