It does say "Be among the first to get a sneak peek into what new exclusives will be coming from the Disney Parks in 2015 & 2016."

What that means, who knows?
When haS Disney built a ride that quickly that they u could announce for a year from now..... AVATAR where r u?

Really easy to clone a big giant square box with next to no the theming and a bunch of screens. It is not apples to apples comparisons. Don't give them credit for something as simple as what they did.

Gove them credit for Potter as it is deserved not the other stuff.
An E Ticket, including demoing an existing theater, in 11 months in the center of an operating theme park is a feat. And it is a solid attraction.

I wish Disney would build as lame an E Ticket as Transformers. Or any E Ticket at all. But hey, Disney is building a mall and some condos, that has to count for something. Right?

Lol companies just don't find extra money and if they come in under budget they disclose that.

This was a planned ride that the story got spun to make it look like a good or move.

No public company mist goes oh we got extra money from this project build something else.
You find LOTS of extra money when the response to your latest attraction looks like this:

Universal made so much money off of Potter 1.0 that they had huge piles of cash that they had 2 choices with. Give it to Uncle Sam or spend it as CapEx. So basically Transformers and Cabana Bay were free to Universal.

They even had enough to pay for the 3 shift:24/7 work schedule to "Get R Done" as they say in the south.

Thanks for confirming that this was actually true and not just 'spin'.

And if Disney ever had the cheap amusement games through out their parks can you imagine the uproar on these sites.

Universal has come a long long way and have shown they can do some wonderful work but like disney they to have all kinds of problems and short cuts that hamper what could be.
The picture below is why Universal still sucks:

You would NEVER see that in a Disney park.

Yet all week that ride had a wait of just under 30 minutes and that ride and every other major attraction at MK Epctot Hollywood studios and animal kingdom was over and hour if not 90 minutes durin the peak of the day.

Universal was so busy I was able to ride every ride they had in both parks and be out the door in less then 7 hours. That was with spending 3 of those in potter land.

Because the universal parks have twice the rides compared to Disney's bottom 3 and eat people well!

How is that a plus for Disney?! You rode everything at universal and you didn't have to schedule it 60 days early... Universal attendance is only going up and wait times aren't really that bad, does that not tell you that their philosophy of building new attractions is working? Unless you're being really sarcastic, it sounds like your universal trip was better..

Hmmm, impressively efficient. I am fairly familiar with UOR, and even I would find that rather difficult to do.

Yes - amazing how building CAPACITY instead of load levelling applications makes for guest satisfaction.
