Disney to launch NextGen 'My Disney Experience' app for iPhone, iPad and Android

There needs to be a time stamp on the wait time page. Also, is there an easy way to refresh the wait times? I'm showing Buzz Lightyear is a 5 minute wait with Fastpasses from 10:15-11:15 AM

Edit: The issue seems to be that the app keeps logging me out. I logged back in, then went to a different park and it seems that wait times were refreshing again. All things considered these are definitely fixable issues.

Wonder what the wait is all about with the Android version...
It is easier to run a new system on just one platform to iron out issues with the infrastructure. With multiple platforms you end up dealing with platform specific issues, along with infrastructure.

Also, Apple is easier to launch an App on becuase there is only one ratio, screen size, etc. With Android, you have a variety of hardware issues to plan for. While Apple is more stringernt about Apps and approving them, it's still only one device to program for since all iPhones and iPods are the same screen size.

I'd imagine it will follow to Andorid in the next 30-90 days.

the not showing wait times from other parks really needs to be fixed. Disney should give up on trying to horde this information and just make the wait times visible without location services
With the new app, you can see wait times from anywhere, even outside WDW. Im in NY right now and can see the wait times :D

Heading for the great escape.
When I get a lottery win Ill be able to turn on data for my phone in the US. Or perhaps the free wifi may actually work. Gotta love T Mobile.

I love that I can put in a park and a time and get a list of all restaurants that have tables available for that time instead of having to search each restaurant individually. Will save so much time! So far, love the app!

The advertisements for this app say that it is available for iphone, ipad & ipod Touch...but the itunes website says that it is available for iphone & ipad not ipod touch...has anyone successfully used it on an ipod touch?

So far, I'm really impressed with this. It looks great on my iPad, but I really can't see taking it into the parks. If I had an iPhone though, I would definitely take it to the parks and use it. There are a lot of improvements over Mobile Magic making this much better, but still room for improvement.
