Somewhat related, but I just noticed while looking through the Stay/Play/Dine offer they now mention a 'Junior' price:

"Sample package price based on 2 adults, 1 junior (ages 10 to 17) and 1 child (ages 3 to 9). "

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/special-offers/stay-dine-package/

I don't ever remember seeing this before.. Are they adding a new level to the tickets? Or an intermediate level on the dining plan between kids and adults?
No juniors are usually party of a package but no new pricing. Should stay as 10 and older as adults.

Juniors have been around Disney marketing promotions forever - they mention them because they pay adult prices for dining and tickets.

This is a question I have not seen answered. (Sorry if I'm wrong.) If you book a package before tomorrow at the current price structure, are you okay just putting down the deposit, or do you have to pay off the whole thing now?

Deposit is fine, it will lock in the current pricing - HOWEVER - if you need to call back later and make any adjustments, depending on the adjustment, it may trigger a recalculation/update to the new structure.

"Compared to previous pricing, some tickets have decreased, increased or stayed the same, depending on the start date and length of the ticket. For example, a 6-Day Ticket starting November 22 2018 will now cost $5 more per day than in 2017. A 1-Day Ticket for December 25 2018 will cost the same as 2017. A 3-Day Ticket starting February 10 2019 will cost $4 less per day than in 2018."

I remember everybody bashing me for suggesting this exact thing.

So question, and this is nit picky, I put in my dates for my existing reservation for January, and it looks like it's $25 cheaper for the new pricing structure. Any chance I can get refunded that difference since I paid more for the tickets a month ago? Its just $25 but it's the principal haha

Your page states:
"
The Disney Platinum Plus Pass is down from $949 (for non-residents) to $849 for both Florida residents and non-residents.

But Disney's site looks like:

The intro page is saying "from $849" so that must be the renewal price that's showing...

As someone who buys the cheapest AP, I still say they need to stop the rampant increases.

At least we had a heads up before the March increase, and I bought my current pass then. Twice in one year is not justified under present conditions.

Blackout dates still aren't listed past September 2019 yet, would be nice to know how crazy the blackouts will be for Galaxy's Edge.

Right there with you.

AP Prices have doubled since the last time I bought one in 2011.

I was at a dinner with extended family this weekend, and the subject of Disney came up. No one besides me had been since 2009ish. When I told them what things cost now they couldn't believe it. When I told them a burger meal with a drink at fast food was going to cost $20/head, they just couldn't believe it.

Man, the whole thing is just sad.

I seem to remember paying somewhere around $1600 for 5 annual passes in 2005 and there were no blockouts. Now I'm looking at $4000 for the same level of access in 2018.

Thanks but no thanks.
