Yup or I could win the PowerBall Lottery along with 5 other state lottery's all on the same day. I'm pretty sure that the odds would be just about the same....or they could just build a monorail to DTD

Probably because it is a Reedy Creek project, so that Disney can (justifiably) dodge the taxes involved in building these improvements.it seemed to be missing from the current plans.
That still did not answer the question...Has it been confirmed and if so, where?Probably because it is a Reedy Creek project, so that Disney can (justifiably) dodge the taxes involved in building these improvements.

Actually $85 Million for 6000 spaces is not a bad price after a brief comparison of other parking garage costs per space.
Buahhahahahaha! Ahhh yes I feel the love. LOL!Why shaddap?...if everyone that posts on these boards ever worried about whether or not what they said was or had anything to do with the topic, it would only take about 10 minutes to read a weeks worth of posts.

The parking garages are already being classified as an RFID project for the tax breaks.I don't think the ramp extension (that's what it is, an extension of the 536/Epcot ramp, not a new ramp) will be "announced" by Disney at all, or if it is it will be late in the game. It will be a RCID project with Disney "contributing," so the best things to look for would be whatever kind of documents and procedures that Orange County goes through for other I-4 construction projects.
To answer that question, you have to ask "Did Disney install moving sidewalks in CA for when they built garages for the project that included DCA 1.0, the DLR hotels, and DTD?"I wonder if they will be installing the moving walkways like Universal did from their parking garage.
They could have paved the lake over, like they did for the 20K LutS Lagoon in order to create FLE.As much as I hate parking garages, we do need more parking. It is getting way too crazy to go to DTD to just have dinner and a movie, which is why locals have not been going and attendance has dropped. I am so happy they are going to fix the parking problem!
The lake is a form of transportation, for a few hotels to DTD and to get around DTD. I don't think they would pave over it to build a parking lot. Talk about how ugly that would be for Saratoga Springs room views lolThey could have paved the lake over, like they did for the 20K LutS Lagoon in order to create FLE.
You can also tie this into a smart phone app! Pretty cool! Next Gen folks better be listening! With any luck, they'll install an empty-parking spot locator system like the garage at BWI airport has. Above each space is an occupancy sensor and red/green lights. When a car parks in the spot the sensor sees it and changes the light from green to red. As you drive down the aisle, you can easily pick out the green lights.
The sensors also feed into an overall system that displays how many spots are available on each level as you enter the garage, and a sign at the end of each row showing how many spots are open in that row.

It's a joke !The lake is a form of transportation, for a few hotels to DTD and to get around DTD. I don't think they would pave over it to build a parking lot. Talk about how ugly that would be for Saratoga Springs room views lol

Wow! Good idea, but 85 mill! Ouch! I wish they'd put that $ into DHS or AK.
