Disney Shivers

Ever get that feeling when you are doing something then you suddenly get transported back to a moment in your Disney vacation that feels so real that you get shivers?

I was just listening to the Tower of Terror queue loop and found myself transported there amongst the humid Florida air, the mist from the garden, the occasional screaming from the Tower itself, and the realization of what a wonderful place Disney is.

So guys, ever get Disney Shivers?

The mood WS has after IllumiNations can be replicated at Dolphin Mall here in Miami.They have some gas burning torches and WS-eske music in the backround so I always feel the Epcot/Disney Feeling when I go.


Any BGM will do it for me as well,though.

Last weekend I was at an aquarium with my family and I passed through this one hallway that smelled like the water from Splash Mountain. I was in awe. I felt like I was in those Fabreze commercials with everyone sniffing. It was wonderful!!

Sometimes a certain smell, usually in the morning, it tranports me back to any of our vacations. 12 days and counting..... I CAN'T WAIT!!! :sohappy:

I love that feeling. Some mornings I will get it, and some smells remind me of Disney World. It usually reminds me of the Great Movie Ride, a boat ride, or the morning of Animal Kingdom.

OK, a strange one that's not quite as funny as the Home Depot post, but very true...

When I microwave turkey bacon (Oscar Meyer) for like five seconds too long, I get the "Fall of Rome" smell from Spaceship Earth. No kidding. I can almost hear "...these same roads were turned against the Romans by invaders..." line in my head.

The third song off of a Cuzco album my mother has is a song that, for some reason, just SOUNDS like Epcot.

Whenever I visit the WWII memorial here in D.C. I get that feeling. It sounds strange but if you have never seen it it has a huge fountain in the center of it. The sound of the fountain reminds me of the fountain of nations.:wave:

I was in Las Vegas last summer and as I was hiking down the strip I was listening to my MP3 player since I was getting rather tired of hiking I took the monorail and Ironically as I got on. My Monorail narration to Epcot came on while riding back to Bally's.....it was weird thinking that Wynn was Spaceship Earth and The Venetian was Innoventions.....

Also the smells, such as something that smells similar to the Disney Water, air conditioned Monorail, and Main Street treats (I should come out with a fragrance line!).

Whenever I use to smell oranges it brought me back to Horizons! Sometimes the smell of chlorine reminds me of Disney too, weird, huh? :ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:
I actually get shivers and all sentimental even when I see a Disney World commercial!! I loved the one where the kids and Dad both couldn't sleep the night before their big Disney World trip! I get all teary eyed!!

I get "The Disney Shivers" when i smell pine it reminds me of soarin plus when i smell a plug in air freshener cant remember which one but it reminds me of Philharmagic with the hot apple pie and every time i turn me laptop on and see my holiday countdown less than two hundred days Heaven:king:
