We have so many reusable bags in our closet we sure in heck don't need another one from Disney; which we may use every couple of years When will this stick it to the customer end Disney? To those who say well you don't have to go --you are correct. My long run of Disney Magic beginning in 1972 will end with our May 2019 trip----- as Bob Hope would say thanks for the memories.

You know the clue is in the name. The bags are reusable, so re-use them instead of putting them in the closet.

When you an abundance of reusable grocery story bags, reusable dollar general bags, reusable cold bags etc etc. I don't need to buy any more and they are only stored in the closet and used regularly

Then no problem exists. Just use the ones you have and don't buy any more. As you say you don't need one from Disney as you have another bag already that you can use.

This is what I don’t understand with the outcries.. it’s not “every time I go to the store”...they are ReUsable. 😂
If it’s something small like a shirt, small toy, etc.. stick it in your handbag or backpack.

Sorry, but "Reusable shopping bags" is not on my packing list, nor will they ever likely be. I carried a backpack or pushed a stroller around WDW for the better part of 14 years, I'm not about to carry around a reusable bag, even as light as they are, in the event we buy something in the park that day. And no, I'm not renting a locker to put it in there until we're ready to shop.

Then don’t. If you decide to buy something then spend the extra dollar and get the bag.

What Disney could do is have a bin near checkout that would allow guests to "leave a bag, take a bag".

They would be stolen in hours and you know it. They could do a rental thing where you can turn your bag back in at your resort (or up front) and get your dollar back, but that is probably a bit too complicated for $1. Maybe increase the price to $3 for that. I don't know, I'm not the demographic for this. We always have a backpack, almost always buy stuff at the end of the day, and it's always just a couple things that are very easy to carry without a bag.

I don’t, either. I don’t carry anything, ever. If I need to buy something, I plan it for just before leaving the park. No issues.

"Bag for length of stay" just like drink cups.RFiD at checkout to see if you are allowed to evade the bag police.

"Due to guest demand, Disney is pleased to announce FastBag+!!! Pre-pay for your reusable shopping bags, from the convenience of your couch! And if you don't want to bring home the bag and reuse it over and over, you can simply leave it in your room upon checkout!"

It's not the fact that it costs dollar it is the fact that in the 40+ years WDW tnever charged for a bag to put your purchase in made from Disney. It's no different 40+ years of no charge parking for resort customers, now they added a resort parking fee. Question is where does it end. it may sound ludicrous but pay toilets in the parks would not surprise me. Is Disney hurting for money-- you would have a hard time getting me to believe that

Or maybe it is the fact that you do not want to pay whatever Disney decides to charge? Have you boycotted the airlines because they did not charge for luggage for 75 years but now they do? Do you boycott all toll roads since they never charged for those roads before? Or better yet, have you boycotted the internet because up until 1995 the internet was free but now you pay for it?
