Watching right now. Another page right out of Disney's discarded play book. This is just a reminder that NBC is airing an hour-long "making of Diagon Alley" at 8pm tonight. I'm trying to remember another time when a major network devoted a prime time slot for something like this. It's pretty remarkable.

I think you are quite correctDoesn't universal own nbc..or am I wrong?
Kinda a missed opportunity on Disney's part to not do the same thing with Cars Land and New Fantasyland... and all of those kids seemed pretty excited by the interactivity displays and Gringotts.Idk if remarkable is the word...but yah it is pretty cool.

Perhaps a good idea would be (for both resorts maybe) would be every once in a while to have an attractions showcase special like similar to what they had tonight?

NBC doesn't really own Universal. NBCUniversal is one large media company that is itself owned by Comcast.
Fixed.NBC doesn't really own Universal. NBCUniversal is one large media company that is itself owned by Kabletown.
Disney used The Middle to push the NFL expansion.Disney has ABC to pimp its product.
universal studios has NBC.
Nice to have that advertising arm at your disposal.
exactly...
and look what they built at Europa Park (video from another dis site)
Shame, because the original was a much darker, more fulfilling film. And Depp can't hold a candle to Wilder.
Not to mention all of the memes Gene Wilder's Wonka portrayal has his version is the iconic one and stills airs on ABC Family pretty regularlyAmen, I loathe Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Willy Wonka, on the other hand, is great and Wilder's performance was classic, as opposed to the creepy performance by Depp.
