So I’m confused, if a day is listed good to go, that means even AP holders don’t need a reservation? Or we still always need one?

When a date is listed as a Good-To-Go Day for Annual Passholders, you will not need a park reservation.

In summary:Walt Disney World has added 4 bonus reservation days for Annual Passholders in early January 2024.
January 4 - Disney's Animal Kingdom
January 6 - Magic Kingdom
January 7 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
January 8 - EPCOT
Indeed.
And it cost less money than the current top tier AP.Indeed.
The (now defunct) Platinum AP had no blockout dates. It also included Photopass downloads, waterparks, and ESPN Wide World of Sports. Sigh.

Ugh, I didn't realize Good-to-Go days were park specific.... I thought we were just, you know, good to go (any park) on those days.
Thank you. I was getting heated. Even for seasoned returning passholders this parkpass structure is too complicated.Good-To-Go Days will be for all parks and are replacing bonus reservations. The first set of those days will be announced on January 11.
That's of your eating the certain with peasant bread with the crust. At the chefs table, no crust and its $187.
You need a flow chart to figure all this out.In summary:
You still need a park reservation to visit any park.
Unless it is after 2PM, then you can tap in anywhere without a reservation.
But if it is a weekend and you want to go the Magic Kingdom after 2PM, you still need to make a park reservation or you have to make a reservation and tap in at another park, before being able to hop to the Magic Kingdom.
However, if it is a "good to go" day, none of the above applies.
Unless your particular Annual Pass is blocked out for the good to go day, in which case you will not be good to go.
It's SO Easy!
You need a flow chart to figure all this out.
Except my understanding is that come Jan 7 you can hop at anytime with a reservation, you just can’t enter without one prior to 2pm.Try this.
